Testosterone Injections

Some guys inject with insulin syringes, usually less more often. Either under the skin or shallow muscle. Pretty painless and doesn’t feel like someone took a baseball bat to your leg for days. Probably causes less tissue scarring in the long term. It does take a little patience pulling the thick oil into the narrow syringe.

I inject 1ml every two weeks and do it in my thighs. I make sure to grab some skin and pinch it, then inject. sometimes I have a bit of pain, sometimes not.

I injected this morning, tried this method.
It worked good.

I inject weekly and use an 18g needle to draw but a 24g needle to inject. the fatter needle (18g) really does make it faster/easier to fill the syringe.

Yeah, I’ve been on testosterone injections too—started with the thigh and man, those first few were rough. Switched to glutes and it made a huge difference. Using Balkan Pharma, and warming the oil a bit before injecting helped a lot with the sting.

I take 0.35ml of Testosterone Cypionate (200mg/ml) once per week. I use a single 22g needle, draw it from the vial and inject it with the same needle behind my hip in the gluteal tissue. It isn't really painful. Not sure how long a needle you guys use but I use a 1.5" needle and seat it all the way in to make sure to get deep in the muscle. Been doing this a couple of decades now and my T numbers are excellent, 500-1000 depending when the blood draw is in relation to my injections. Last number was two days after injection and 749. That should be a day or so from peak number.

My first doc I had said injection into any large muscle group is fine, and I shot into my thigh for a while. I later had a new doctor and he said you should really do it in your butt for best results, so I have done that ever since. No big deal.

You can inject with half inch insulin needles of about 30 gauge (thin) subcutaneously or (shallow) intramuscularly. It's almost painless and creates minimal scar tissue compared to the thick needles.

It can take a while to load the needle but you can warm up the testosterone suspension to make this easier.

It's an IM medication, my understanding is that sub-Q into fat limits absorption. Do you have some references on this? I'm curious.
