Ok guys here goes… My Story So Far Continued. So a few months have gone by since I last posted. Went to Pioneer Valley Urology out of Springfield,Ma. We discussed Viagra not working. Also discussed injections and IPP options. Just did not get a warm fuzzy feeling "about doctors ability. It’s my dick! In reality only tried Viagra one time, did not work. Had some sporadic erections about 8 to 11 times. Masterbated maybe 7 or 8 of those times. Sometimes rigid erections
, sometimes just semi rigid. With a full ejaculation and orgasm. On Sunday April 12 wife attempted oral and masterbation, but my dick never did get hard. Did ejaculate and orgasm. Very depressed. Not sure what to do.
So I am thinking about an implant. Is this too soon? Maybe. But here no sex for 13 plus years. I want to fix this if possible. That gets me thinking to what doctor to go for implant. Dr. Clavell is at the top of my list but a long way to go for surgery. Have watched Lot of his you tube videos. I see there is a doctor in NYC, Dr. Eid, about a 4 hour one way drive and another in Cape Cod,MA,Dr. Kramer, under a 3 hour one way drive. Looking for a high volume and an outstanding surgeon for implant. Then I ask myself if I being foolish thinking this way. Maybe I am too old. Age here now 74. In pretty good health. I do have type 2 diabetes. I have recently lost 60 pounds just by cutting out sugar and carbs and walking outside weather permitting, inside on treadmill. Also have Medicare with Part B extra and Federal Blue Cross Blue Sheild on wife’s insurance. We both were Electronics techs for FAA Techops. So any suggestions or thoughts? Am I too old?

Re: My story so far continued
Ok, quick follow up here. Was talking to my wife about how to print stuff from my IPAD on this board in order to help me remember due to my TBI injury. She asked me rather curiously about why I wanted to print something from internet. I was kind of embarrassed and said it was a posting here on this board. Something about ED. Was interested in a list of questions to ask surgeon regarding implants. It’s on the internet, it must be true, right guys? She asked me that I had forgotten that I an appointment with my Urologist two days prior to our cruise in May. That he was not a fan of Viagra, that he had a different more dependable drug that he recommended. I don’t know what it is. Feel like a big dummy. Like I said two days prior to cruise. I could easily get it filled and try it out over the cruise. Man, not only is she a pretty hot little lady, she is so smart and really loves me/us. I could never look her in the eyes and tell a lie. She would see it in my face and call’bull shit’. Guess that comes from many years of working together in addition to almost 17 years married.

I'm not sure what other medication the Uro would be talking about except Cialis or something with a combo of Cialis and something else. Would be nice if you could ask the doctor to give it to you earlier to try rather than wait for the cruise.
Might not hurt to ask if he could go ahead and write you a prescription to try before you see him again.

HLB52111, too soon ? Only you can answer that. But I'd encourage you to consider other forum members' reflections in the "ten years" thread below for some inspiration.
