So I’m headed to Palm Springs tomorrow and it’s my first post op trip through an airport what can I expect as far as going through the X-ray or metal detectors

Zoso, I had back surgery through my abdomen post implant. The surgeon sent me for an X-ray and it couldn’t even see anything at all. Not been through TSA but I can’t imagine it being different. If they question it I’d take a female employee and show it off.

LOL. The wife and I were going to Mexico and she had a skimpy shirt with metal button type things on it and she got flag, this big lady TSA said I’m going to have to feel your breast and the wife looked at me and said “we haven’t even left the airport and the party is already started!”
She had already had a couple margaritas threw her arms up and went WoooHoo

I've been through airports in Europe, Croatia, Egypt, Argentina, Mexico, Israel and all over the U.S. Israel being the strictest, I have never had anyone stop or ask me about the implant.
Don't worry about it, although they may take a look at your bulge...
