Intralesional collagenase injections (Xiaflex)

This is for the guys who experience an onset of curving or bending of their penis. PD is a frustrating condition which often creates significant emotional and mental distress. It overlaps several other sexual function conditions.

Intralesional collagenase injections (Xiaflex)

Anyone tried these? Do they work?

Would they also, or could they, work for non PD ED?

I've never tried them. From what I understand there is some risk involved. But more importantly they are just for PD related issues, well that and dupuytren's contracture (trigger finger).

Never tried it because no doctor has ever confirmed whether or not I need such a thing. However what worries me a little is the warning that you can get breakage or snap something after the Xiaflex injection. What I would be interested in knowing is this a temporary thing, or does the fragility persist the rest of one's life?

I am on the second cycle of xiaflex. So far there is some improvement -- it is a pain in the ass not being able to do anything with your dick for a month after the injections though...especially when you have a needing partner. There is some discomfort involved, but nothing to serious -- you really need to keep up with the penis modeling.
