Peyroines forum

This is for the guys who experience an onset of curving or bending of their penis. PD is a frustrating condition which often creates significant emotional and mental distress. It overlaps several other sexual function conditions.

I had nightmares before surgery after watching YouTube videos of deglove and graft procedures being preformed in conjunction with implants.
In the end the surgeon was able to approach the scar tissue from the penascrotal incision. He cut the coarse scar out and went ahead to install the implant. No deglove necessary.
7 months post surgery I am very pleased with the result. The surgeon recommended that I keep my penis in an upright position and slightly to the right side while dressed. That was a mind game because I always think folks will notice the slight bulge . I tend to wear my shirts untucked. I believe I will just get used to the look after a while and stop thinking about it. The advice was that this would prevent the penis from tending left while erect. It works nicely. I have about 6 inches with a bit of an upward curve which is very effective at pleasing my wife. I am not able to reach organum with sexual intercorse but I am for now happy that she is satisfied in spades. I am 65 and have had 25 years of severe back issues.
Everyone has a story and I am grateful to have gotten the implant.

PD Experiences

Postby Cernfan » Fri Apr 05, 2024 4:49 pm

I am about 4 months into my diagnosis of PD (self-diagnosis). I developed a severe upward curve rather abruptly this past November 2023. I had a month or two of painful erections, those have since subsided. However, my upward curve is now about 90 degrees. My once proud cock is now shaped like the letter "C". I am taking Colchicine, Vitamin E, PABA, and L-Citriline. I am also on Cialis and I am using a pump and a Restorex stretcher.

To be honest, I despise using the restoreX. It feels like the head of my cock is in a mousetrap. In order for it to firmly hold the head of my penis in place for the stretch I have to REALLY clamp it down hard. It hurts a lot. I gave up using it after three days and now I pump exclusively. My partner has remarked that he thinks my curve has really lessened. We don't do penetrative sex, just oral and hands right now.

I am waiting for the one year mark to see how this PD progresses. I am hoping I may be one of the lucky ones who can resolve on its own (17% of us men do), but if not, I am considering an implant. I am doing research on inflatable vs. malleable and I am hoping to get some local show and tell demos to see for myself.

The bottom line is that after HOURS AND HOURS of research on credible, peer-reviewed, published clinical study sites and databases, I've discovered the sad truth that there is no absolute cure for PD, only semi-effective treatments. The only sure fire way to ensure good erections again after severe PD is with an implant. I am OK with that now. It takes time to reach that point but after careful studying, it seems like it's the best option for me.

I have also learned that PD is probably much more prevalent than previously thought. Now scientists and statisticians are saying up to 10% of men could be affected by PD. It also is appearing more frequently in YOUNGER men. Perhaps this is due to prolonged masturbation that is facilitated by the ubiquitous nature of good porn all over the internet. Men just can't seem to keep their hands off their cocks.

I am wondering what other men are experiencing. I am a very healthy, fit, athletic 60 year old man. No other comorbidities. I don't smoke, I don't have diabetes, I don't have high blood pressure, I exercise at the gym several times a week and walk several times a week. My job also is very physical so I am constantly on the go. I'm still super horny and love to have sex. I try to stay upbeat and positive.

This site has been super helpful!
