I agree with Mazzio. Optimal treatment is possible in the USA, but you have to differentiate between the serious investigators and the hucksters. I've tried, as a layman, to research and understand the several RCT research reports and my conclusion is that shockwave has promise. Nearly all the investigators seem to converge on a result that is not conclusive but tending toward hopeful. I've read no trials that conclude it's worthless so I believe any such conclusion must be anecdotal and probably based on cheap, improperly administered radial so-called shockwave.

I expect you are right but I offer one caution in evaluating the Storz: the SD-1 is true focused shockwave. But Storz also makes radial shockwave devices. I have found it very difficult to read the marketing materials and determine what type of device is being used.

It is in Swedish language but use translators. You will see that also venous leak is listed as cases that will benefit of shockwave.

In Nordic countries healthcare is serious business and shockwave is carefully analysed before comments like that are given.

what do you want me to tell you ... to me it was not recommended, the doctors said ... more than one, that shock waves are needed if it is an arterial problem, if it is venous it is useless, then many andrologists / urologists advise against them saying that they create fibrosis, who has the car instead makes it to you even if you have a headache just to steal money, however many of my friends have made shockwaves with zero results, in any case on this forum I have read some who have made shockwaves with no results

HOWEVER, making a statement like that raises the question. What is your source? Who has published that Europe is so successful and us unwashed, crass Americans are routinely treated by quacks?

I’ll put it succinctly. Provide a source to document those statistics. If you can’t provide a source, you probably shouldn’t quote them as fact. But maybe you can and will tell us where those numbers came from. I’ll be standing by.

I have no interest, what I mentioned are sources of users on the Italian forum and of friends who have done this therapy, it may be that you are right and god knows how I wish you were right and not me, also because I suspended mine implant that i should have done in november, my andrologist gave me mesterolone and doubled the strength of the pills, i would be grateful if you give me some reliable and recent sources for shock waves, maybe it will be useful, to me 2 andrologists said that if I had an arterial problem the shockwaves would be useful, since my e is venous leakage on a vascular basis would not have helped at all, now on that stockholm link he says it's okay too for venous leak and vascular base, at this point I am confused, please give me as many sources of shock wave as possible and recent thanks

I tried shock wave. No results. Wasted $5000. Had an implant 2019.
