Well, that me turned off looking at shockwave therapy.

Maybe the patient was one of those that did buy a 800 dollar shockwave unit from China and did use it at home...

Perito is just marketing his own business. The success rate in penis implants is about 90%. Quite high but 10% on the patients are not satisfied. They've had infections etc. That has turned me off the implant.

With all these snake oil solutions, it's real easy to find someone talking online about how it really helped them.

That's because it's real easy for someone from the company to pose as a customer online and lie.

Just a few fake reviews or a few lying sockpuppets on forums like this or reddit can sell a lot of products.

Another thing -

The areas in life where people have the most insecurities are the areas where you'll find the most scams.

So for guys, that's ED and hair loss. The snake oil solutions industry is massive becuase con artists know many men are desperate for any solution to these problems, and there isn't a good REAL solution.

For women, it's diet and "anti aging" products. The amount of money I've seen women spend on scam creams that will supposedly keep them young is incredible.

Too bad our government doesn't do much to protect people from con artists like this.

Shockwave treatment is well evaluated by the professionals. It is not snake oil. The problem is that the protocols used for this treatment are still evolving.

Even scam artists can get their snake oils "evaluated by professionals" and put up an official looking website boasting about their "great results."

I've been through two different treatment regiments from two different clinics. It doesn't work. Damn near every post I've read here and on other men's health websites say that it doesn't work. Yet, I still see from time to time "news" articles claiming it does. I've only read where one or two men who've claimed it helped but they had mild ED and they bought their own machines and used them for several months before they saw improvement.
On that note I've noticed the clinics around here that offered Shockwave therapy, Stem cell shots, etc... are disappearing as fast as they showed up. Hmmmm.

In my personal experience it made my ED much worse - pills worked for me before that, but after my 6 rounds of treatment it made me unable to obtain an erection of any kind - with meds or without meds. I'm currently thinking about an implant and using injections, although they haven't helped me much so far - all this at 19-20 years old. It was done in supposedly the best and most expensive urology clinic in my country. Now I realise they are money-grabbing scammers who prey on desperate people and will never trust an urologist in my country ever again. Please be careful - always do your own research and be wary of such "miraculous" treatments and clinics.

It has to be focused or linear shockwave from good machines like Duolith SD1. MEDISPEC ED1000 , Piezowave, Aries 2, Renova. Anything beyond that is mostly radial wave and that does not work for Ed. Shockwave will soon be used for Heart disease. It has been used for muscular skeletal conditions

I had a veinous leak. Did Shockwave and PRP. A waste of money for me.

I think very high of urologist but this is known as a cash money maker for them.

I ended up having an implant but that's only after failure of pills, shockwave, PRP and anything else was possible before doing the implant.

I was willing to spend anything so I tried everything first there's nothing wrong with doing that investigation If anything to make yourself feel better to try all the options.
