Is it worth the ~$875 or so I paid? To me, I'd pretty much pay anything I could afford to fix this fucking ED problem....$4k was a harder pill to swallow so to me, it was worth it. I'll continue to use it....and when this one wears out...I may buy another.....at least until I may be forced to get an implant one day.
Very interesting Sean, I did not realise you have had some success with these machines.
I have done a lot of reading into the available studies on these treatments and have subsequently reserved judgement on their efficacy. The lack of success stories here was concerning, but I speculate that this is because most of the guys that have tried the therapy here are too far gone for it to help and also that this modality needs to be a regular treatment.
It does appear that it may help to reverse some of the deterioration in the endothelium in the blood vessels and even reduce excessive alpha adrenergic expression in the erectile tissues (which possibly happens as we age). It does make sense that it may only work for a short period as what ever process is causing the deterioration is ongoing.

Yeah, as I said....not a cure for me personally....but that's not even what the high dollar soundwave machines at the urologists claim either. They claim an average of 4 points of improvement...and that's largely subjective for anyone who's taken one of these ED questionnaires. It's rather ridiculous that their standard of measure revolves around the ability to penetrate one's partner. Yeah, I can mash my limp dick into my wife....and it's neither fun, nor satisfying for either of us. But I digress. Seems like much of the ED treatment in the medical community is voodoo witchcraft anyway...they don't really seem to understand nearly enough about what causes it or how to fix it. Sorry for the rant.
For *me*.....it was worth the money so far. For someone else, it may not be at all. I think the more severe the case of ED and longer it's been going on...the less likely this will work. If you've moved from pills to injections......or have venous leak, it's probably not for you. JMO.

Basically it's sound waves and if you go on youtube you'll see video's on the topic. I've had guys say it's a WASTE of money!

I totally agree that this at home device sounds like a waste of money. The device is around $850 and that’s a decent amount of money for something to not work. However I have talked to 6-7 people with no affiliation to the company that makes this machine and they swear by it. The people that I have talked to that had success with it used it over a period greater than 6 months but noticed a slight difference after the first month or two. Actually they continue using the machine and most of them pump 3 times a week as well. It almost seems like physical therapy for ED. I still have not bought one but the company says they have a treatment protocol for venous leak. I find that hard to believe but that’s just my opinion. The at home machines have had no clinical trials or proven studies as of yet.

I don't have the $875 to waste either, though I do have the $875 if it works. I'm skeptical about the Phoenix because it uses radial waves, which are pretty much useless. The other investment with the Phoenix is YOUR TIME. So you could end up dropping $875 and countless hours on snake oil. Actually, I'm more likely to try snake venom. But, that cynicism aside, I retain an open mind.

i bought one of the shock wave systems from amazon for $350.00 and it works great for my back pain not so much for my cock just my two cents

I bought a high frequency audio wave device and it worked for me. see my post AUDIO WAVE HIGH FREQUENCY.
There are two types of devices on the market A) uses mechanical compression to get the sound wave into the tissue, and B) the unit I bought has no moving parts. Worked very well. see my lengthy post AUDIO WAVE HIGH FREQUENCY.

In one of Perito's videos doing implants surgery on YouTube, he has trouble with inserting the dilator due to scaring, which he says was caused by Shock Wave therapy, he shows one portion to the camera and says "See this, this should be pink, but here we see it's white (from scaring)".
Well, that me turned off looking at shockwave therapy.
