I tried man oil and wicks several penis conditioning lotions and I cant tell it really did much other than keep it soft i'm not a doctor but I noticed the same with my ED once it got bad I lost sensation also that's why I tried the lotions I have noticed even if I can get a little hard the sensation is better but I do think some of mine is mental tried and failed so many times with a partner and no erection just does something to you. I think I know now that I have made the decision to get fixed I feel a lot better even a little horney LOL i'll let know how it all shakes out

I've had the same problem since my second implant, about 6 mo ago. Someone mentioned testosterone is the problem, but I'm thinkin no. My uro was stunned when he did my blood for T. Almost 1100. He said he's only seen about 6 patients who were that high, and they were in their 20's. I'm 74. Believe me when I say that I'm not boasting, because it's nothing to boast about. Does nothing for me sexually, except makes me horny, like, all the time. But with the reduction in sensation, I don't come as a result of penile pressure. I tried masturbation once, and it took an hour. I come from being very tactile (touchy, feely) with my hands,on a sexy lady, more than with my penis. But I'm gonna keep trying to find something topical that helps.

I have lost my libido, and the ED has gotten worse over the last year.

I am taking Webutrin, and have read in numerous places that it can cause ED. yes, a number of men report that it increases libido, but it can have a negative effect on some men. I have weaned myself for 2 weeks, so tomorrow I am not taking any.

I'm 61, about 25 lbs over weight in relatively good health. No high BP.

Does anybody have any idea what causes the loss of pleasurable sensation in the first place? Is it vascular or neurological issue?

I am following this thread. I have no professional knowledge but I believe that it is neurological but I do not know

Razor1, what was your prolactin level when initially tested? I too take Wellbutrin, but have been having sensitivity issues for a few years now. Much worse after my implant. I find that a Fleshlight Quickshot provides the full stimulation it takes for me to orgasm. I can come inside my wife occasionally, but usually end with her using the quick shot on me. This also my go to way to masterbate. Good orgasms for sure. My dr. Recently prescribed compound testosterone cream to rub on my penis (theory is that the T receptors are awakened and nerves can also be stimulated. Not seeing much difference with that yet. I am open to hearing suggestions please - as the docs don’t seem to have much to offer in this area.

I have lost pleasurable feelings in my penis and slight loss of normal touch sensitivity as well. Mine I believe is from antidepressants and has been this way for a little over a year. It sucks as it is what makes it hard to get an erection. If it felt good it probably would not be an issue. The man oil does not work. I tried it and it’s useless.

That article was just an advertisement for a vitamin product and more links to other marketing snake oils.
The information within was also without any substance.
