Could it be low testosterone? I had a pituitary tumor, and high prolactin and low testosterone. I take cabergoline for the tumor, which cut the prolactin and boosted the testosterone, and now I use androgel to boost test even more. When I had the tumor, I could not get hard or ejaculate--now it is much better!

ORGASM and ejaculation can happen if you are on Flowmax but no semen will spurt out. Flowmax routes the semen into the bladder and you urinate it out with your urine. I am on Flowmax and have the big O with prostate pulsations when it is "ejaculating" into my bladder.

You might try a daily Cialis, as for me it made me have a glan erection. The Cialis glan erection is activated on arousal, i.e., corpus cavenosium urethrae which contains about 10% of the penis blood gets erect. I would cut up the 5 MG daily tablet into 4 parts and take 1.25 when I feel like I needed to increase my libido. The Cialis makes my shaft rounder as it inflates the corpus urethrae, expanding the tunica albuginea, the penis covering.

If that does not work I would have my testosterone check, since I started testosterone pellet injections I have not taken the Cialis.

I was told by my urologist after the prostatectomy that orgasms would not be long afterword. he said that I would only get a 1-2 second max twitch and that would be it. end of it. Now, 6 years later it has just started that I can on occasion get one that lasts from 15 seconds to last night almost 30 seconds. The best ever. Last night it had the pulsing like in the old days when I ejaculated too for the first time. There is also a little clear fluid which I understand is some kind of fluid from the only glands they do not remove. Just a drop or two. None of this was while hard. Cannot get hard any more. d

However, to be honest, the ED was kicking in even before the surgery....I had an implant in September 2012 and I am now able to have sex any time, day or night, as long as I want. (or as long as she wants....or if I am alone, as long as I WANT...)

Here's my problem. I CANNOT orgasm. It feels good, sometimes I feel like I am on the way to orgasm, but that feeling abruptly stops. Even when I masturbate, it feels good. But NO ORGASM. WTH? Before my prostate surgery, no problem with orgasm. Oh, there were times I didn't get off having sex, but that was because my ED was already kicking in and I would lose my erection often during sex........but when I masturbated, I would ALWAYS get off..........now, I cannot. Ever. Any way I try.

Any suggestions????

I have the same problem but I've never had prostate cancer. I have no orgasm and when I masturbate I can feel it coming but it never does. I do have a fast heart beat like 90 beats per minute all the time when resting or working it doesn't mater. Heart feels like it's coming out of my chest.

Thanks.

I do notice that my heart beats like crazy when I have the short post prostatectomy twitch pseudo orgasms too but closer to 130 bpm and bp drops enough to get a little light headed for 2-3 minutes. When things were working, I just worked up a sweat and no fast heartbeat. sometimes I think my mind wants a full blown orgasm to happen but goes nuts trying to do something it can't. My 15 second twitches ended. Only happened 2 times and have not gotten any more.

My orgasms are stronger and longer than prior to all of this garbage with prostate cancer and radical prostatectomies but that's just me.

Years ago I was on an antidepressant that didn't effect my libido or erections, but I could not have an orgasm. I told my doctor about this and he changed my medication. This might be something for guys with this problem to look into.

I've heard this from a number of guys and it applies to me also. Before surgery, my orgasms were over in maybe 5-6 seconds. Now I can have an orgasm that last 15-20 seconds of intense feeling - they're amazingly better!

To the original question, since my implant, I am numb from the scrotal incision to just under the sensitive bits on the underside of my penis, therefore, stroking the underside, I feel nothing. My urologist told me that since this is the case, I have to train myself to now use my big head - sights and sounds - to give me additional stimulation, and he's right. I now concentrate on what I am seeing and hearing during sex - and if you check my post under the Masturbation topic, you'll see that (since I have a much higher need for sex than my wife) I masturbate often (2-4 times a week) and sometimes use porn to give me a full blown good-old-days orgasm - the sights and sounds of what I am seeing. Someone else said it here too - you're got to use your big head now, it's all between the ears!

Good luck

This is the first place in 9 years I have ever read someone say they have the best orgasm they ever had after their prostate has been butchered out of their body. Out of the many doctors I have gone to in the last nine years all said nothing but a short little orgasm, often as little as 2 seconds is possible and everyone I have ever discussed this with said their orgasm is nothing like it was prior. This thread is starting to sound like the my dick implant is perfect, everyone else's is perfect, sex is better than it has been my entire life threads or the prostate cancer forums where people claim they had no issues, no pain, were having as usual in a month. In the general scope of things, this is not the outcome most people have. I asked here one time and only 2 people told me that their sex life was not much much worse than before and they were the only 2 who told me they had made some degree of recovery. The rest said they would not be here if it were not for the fact the did not recover sexual function. If your hot throbbing ever pulsating schlong is greater than before, then fabulous, but if not do not feed us a bunch of make believe shit.

Any ideas?
