The end of sex? Not quite.

Postby Martin6469 » Thu May 11, 2023 2:03 pm

Masters and Johnson advise older guys with anorgasmia that: "You can have sex without ejaculating - keep banging her until she's had enough, then stop. Next time you might ejaculate in her, after building up more semen." (I'm paraphrasing :D )

For me, this is a reasonable substitute for real sex; I enjoy the slipping 'n sliding, and she likes, for however long she wants it, the pubic bone knocking and faster penetration than what she gets when masturbating with dildos. Then, when she's had enough, she says, "Ok, I'm done." I stop, and we enjoy the closeness.
Age 78 in 2023. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

With my implant I can keep going until she begs me to stop! (or I run out of gas!)
If I couldn't finish it just wouldn't be the same.

I had this happen progressively getting worse for over a year now.

It’s very hit or miss if I finish or not. The wife is the one who decides when we’re done or I get tired.

I enjoy it sometimes I hit the top sure I’ll go over have an orgasm but then stops and I have to start over.

Pre implant that I’d loose the erection.

Even jerking off I would have to do it longer before finishing. Finally I talked to my urologist at the VA hospital clinic said I’d have to go through primary care but he would order the testosterone test.

I talked to primary care, after a few rounds back and forth pharmacy who seems to be the ultimate say in health care at the at least with medication. At least at the VA I go to.

They grilled me over giving injections like that would scare me off at least seeing if a little testosterone would help. I told the pharmacist prior to my implant I was putting a needle in my dick. Stabbing myself for an IM injection can’t cause any more anxiety issues than that.

Currently I’m on a 100mg once a week my libido is coming up more so a day or 2 after the injection stays pretty constant after that. I’ve even began to finish at least 50% of the time.

Don’t give up be your own advocate for health care. If possible seek a second opinion.

I retired from the Army Reserves and went on Tricare in addition I’m 90% service connected disabled. With Tricare my age and numbers said supplemental testosterone was indicated. Maybe that’s why the VA finally relented and put me on it.

Again if I just took no for answer I’d be having sex but it’s better to ejaculate even 50% of the time
