Where to start? I'm so glad I found this subject on the forum. At least I know I'm not the only one experiencing this. I am going on 5 months since the surgery and I've only orgasm twice with great effort. I have to say the last one was like nothing I've ever experienced and I want more. It's just so difficult getting over the hump. I get rather close and then it's like a light switch turns off.

As far as the process with my urologist goes I've done the nasal spray oxytocin and I'm now taking the cabergoline tablet twice a week. My urologist also told me to be sure it was fully inflated. I pump it up as high as I can masturbate for a while and then try to get a couple more pumps in. Yesterday it was so full I guess my penis actually ached. My urologist also told me that I'm not fully healed yet. I'm at my wit's end. It's so frustrating to continually almost climax only to be disappointed. I'm getting a little hopeless.

I feel for you, I have a also have a problem reaching orgasm. It does take time to fully heal and to get all nerves to function properly so please don't overthink it.
For me if I can't get there after 20 to 30 minutes I have to try to imagine a sex scene that really turns me on. Yes some times I have to finish by a different means, masturbation or a vibrator.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REPLYING! AND ESPECIALLY FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT. I DID NOT KNOW IT TOOK UP TO A YEAR TO HEAL. I continue to inflate to the max and then some for 30 minutes a day per my urologist's instructions. I have all the desire and drive in the world and though my penis feels different I wouldn't call it less sensitive. Just different. One of the orgasms I was able to achieve was sensational though it took about 2 hours and lots of relaxation.I am a huge over thinker and can be rather negative minded so I appreciate your encouragement to not overthink. I'll do my best to take your advice. All the best! To everyone..!

Just taking a shot in the dark, but have you tried masturbating with your penis not QUITE fully inflated? Sometimes I can orgasm easier when my penis is a little more comfortable and less aching. Experiment around a bit. No harm in trying.

Yeah. I am 71 and had the implant two years ago and haven't vaginally cum since the operation. I can ejaculate manually which is something I guess, however, it is causing some problems with my wife who has seemed to lose interest in sex.
There is a pill for everything except Anorgasmia it seems. The only upside to the procedure is that I can stay hard as long as I like

Had my implant installed Aug 6th, 2022, so I'm just around 7 weeks.. I've found it's difficult to orgasm from intercourse partially because I've forgotten how to do it! Also it's exhausting! As someone else mentioned in the thread, I've found that being just a little less than fully inflated helps with orgasms both during sex and solo. I'm sure there's a medical explanation for it..

Personally, I'm better off.. I have an erect penis again and I'm not a quick trigger anymore.

Yeah, I'm with you guys. I do tend to drink a bit -- an old habit to get in a romantic mood... And I'm sure that decreases sensitivity.

BUT, I am thrilled with how much better it is for my wife, We can do cowgirl again, which she loves but we had had to leave behind. And she always has time to orgasm which makes me happy!

Then the next day, I can always manage to cum on my own.

So is that perfect, of course not. But it sure is a whole lot better than the depressing doldrums of serious ED...

Well it’s been a little over a year since my implant. It took a long time to heal. I’ve orgasmed during sex twice since then with my wife by getting to the trigger point and finishing with her. I could masturbating and have had some good ones too. I had open abdominal surgery 9/26 which gave me retrograde ejaculation which I’d like to try but now I can’t seem to get to the point of no return. I’m still enjoying sex with my wife but we both miss the it. Hopefully some nerves will heal. My friends that have retrograde ejaculation said it should still feel almost the same or at least 80%

I’m trying the prostate massage route this week.
