Delayed Ejaculation - New Forum

Postby Frank Talk Admin » Thu Aug 15, 2019 12:15 pm

We have had several requests for a separate Topic Area for guys with delayed ejaculation (aka: anorgasmia).
We now have one https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=22

We have a lot of posts about this and we will be slowly moving them to this new area as we find them.
This now means that Franktalk.org is about way more than ED. We are now covering Premature (or Rapid) Ejaculation as well as Delayed Ejaculation.
The board of directors has asked me to research whether or not we need to include an area for low libido/low testosterone as well.
If you have thoughts, please let me know.
We do not see this as diluting or lessening anything about Erectile Dysfunction, but simply expanding the topic to serve more men. There are not many great resources anywhere for these other topics.
This might eventually mean that we might have to shift out mission from "erectile dysfunction" to "sexual dysfunction".

Guys, thanks for all your contributions to this board. As you can plainly see, this is not my site, it is yours!

Thanks
Paul

Thanks, I feel that although PE and DE are not ED by specific definition they are often so intertwined with it that they are really one and the same. Yeah, there are some that never had any problems with cranking it up but have problems with cranking one off, either prematurely or delayed, but the suffering can be similar.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. Michael Wehle. Nerve sparing - badly damaged. C in margin. V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ ~ 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE-1 - cost. Inject. 10+ yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

Paul--
Thank you so much for adding this new forum. I really appreciate having this area to draw together posts that were scattered throughout the other areas. I agree with Bldoink that DE is often intertwined with ED; that certainly is the case for me.
71 years old in 2018; married 49 years. ED since 2001. PD5 inhibitors (Viagra, etc.) worked with increasing dosages until side effects got too bad by 2017. Now using Trimix injections. Delayed ejaculation has been a continuing problem since 2012.

As you say, there is a dearth of information relating to men's sexual health. This site is a lifeline with a wonderful community.

A fine thing to develop to cater for another demographic of men suffering from a form of sexual dysfunction.

Thank you, Paul.

Thanks for adding this forum. Your idea of possibly adding a low T/Low libido forum sounds good too.
Age 75. ED bouts increasing in frequency and duration in older age. Multi year history of high BP and meds. No diabetes or prostate issues. TRT gel started at age 64. T b4 gel 239. T with gel mid 600s. Current ED treatment = VED.

I am glad to see this topic in the forums. I see that others have the same problem as I do.
While it might seem a good thing to have happen, it's not. It started with me about two years ago and seems to be getting worse. Sex still feels good and I still enjoy it very much but it seems I can't cum without some other type of stimulation. Prostate stimulation, during sex will cause me to cum but it's really frustrating not being able to cum form intercourse of oral sex.
For those who have experienced it, what did you do? Is there some type of treatment? I've mentioned it to my Urologist several times but he hasn't had any suggestions as to the cause or a cure.
I'm desperate for advise from someone who has had the same problem. Thanks for reading and hopefully responding>

Good decision! Thanks for being responsive.

Indeed thank you. This is not a deal breaking condition like ED, but very frustrating when you cannot get the same release as your partner. Moreso because she is really really getting off with a much longer duration now :D Now I go do the cooking afterwards while she recovers. Role reversal. She says some of the best ever now so it;s not all bad at all. :) While some DE may he related to other causes (long list in one of the posts gleaned from the many diverse posts), I am all but certain that mine was at least aggravated by ED treatments, specifically PGE. I am back to exploring with Cialis and a ring and a much lower TriMix dose. It will be great to explore causes and solutions with the community. My URO knows little about ED and far less about PE/DE. We're largely on our own. Thanks again.

My Uro did say that a good base of testosterone is what male sexuality is built on.

In reply to Masonjames, I have two suggestions. First, if you repost your message in the new area, that may help in getting more replies. Second, there is a lengthy thread in that area on precisely this topic; some of the comments there may provide some help for you.
