I'm not going to try and do the math but I think your current dose of alprostadil (in your post not your signature) is similar to mine which is currently 15 units (.15) of 80mcg per ml alprostadil.

Let's see: ".20 ml 30-1-20 plus 0.10 ml 60 mcg/ml PGE " So 0.2 x 20 = 4 mcg, plus, 0.1 x 60 = 6 mcg, and, 4 + 6 - 10 mcg. Plus a bit of papavarine and phentolamine. This is way down from 1x 20 mcg Caverject and sometimes 1 1/2-2 syringes. THAT burned.

Will post this statement in the DE folder too: Chatted with an older cousin today, he's 84 now. He had never used pills or injections and he said he got anorgasmia just by aging. He had phlebitis and used a thinner and used Lipitor for many years. No diabetes, pre-diabetic. So, no PGE there but still bad DE. See long list of possible causes in DE folder.

I have three batches I use and mix in the syringe depending on the session's desired outcome: a 30-1-20, a 30-2-40 and a 60 pge. Plus a wad of Caverject 20's for travel. I'm dabbling with mixes to see the outcome. Overall I am back to a Cialis 10mg base and a lower dose of PGE to reduce the burn and try to foster a mutual orgasm but so far poor results for me. Wife wins either way.

I'm taking .5 ml of Testosterone per week and use .10ml of Trimix. I take 5mg of Cialis in the mornings. I sometimes have problems with getting to the tipping point to come, maybe 1/3 of the time. We have sex about 3 to 4x a week and on many nights it's like I'm 30 years old again and feels great and natural.

My wife is a great and lets me masturbate till I'm at the point and then finishes me off either orally or riding me. I'm 65 on high blood pressure meds but it's been ok most times. I guess I'm confused by all of the literature. So here are my questions.

1. Is it old age?

2. Meds?

3. Low libido even though I'm on testosterone? Does it fluctuate that much?

4. Should my libido go up does it drop the first few days after an injection?

Thanks

I have the same problem, which began around age 70. Seems to be less glans sensitivity from simple aging. I stopped masturbating and having my wife masturbate me some years ago and that seems to have restored glans sensitivity a little, but not as much as I would like. I find that caffeine helps reaching orgasm a little. I use caffeine tablets equivalent to four cups of coffee. Needless to say, we only have sex in the morning! I need synthetic T because of an endocrine problem unrelated to aging, and my doctor measures blood T every year to make sure I'm in the right zone, i.e. it's high enough to give me a good libido and not so high that I increase the risk of prostate cancer. My doctor says 600 is about right. Below 300 you won't have good libido; this will cause anorgasmia. There seems to be a plateau above 500 or so: going from 500 to 900 doesn't change libido, for example. I use a T gel made up by a compounding pharmacy according to my doctor's prescription. You wipe a measured amount on a square foot or so of skin once a day, letting it dry for about 10 minutes. This give me a nice even T vs. shots. The gel costs me $30/month. (There's a gel made up in little packets by a pharmaceutical company but it's much more expensive.) Most compounding pharmacies will mail medicine.

Remember that Cialis takes about 4 hours to kick in, unlike Viagra which works much faster.

One of our FT guys says that erotic thoughts are useful in anorgasmia cases. I think he's on to something. I plan to figure out how this can work at my age and I'll post something.
