Man I was surprised I had enough Tuesday when I got 45 out of the vial and there was still some left over. I was probably going to toss it, but I said just for giggles I'll load it in a syringe. I got 30 more units, my calculations were a little off, so I said why waste it! So I did last night for a solo mission and had tough time getting off also.aftet about 1 1/2 hrs got the good semi to totally go flaccid, after two orgasms! Getting tougher to. Getting my mix probably sat. Little nervous, talked to pharmacist and said the tri mix I got - 30/1/20, 2nd highest dose out of 4! I only wanted a bump on my bi mix, but, got tri mix. Don't think he's messing around anymore and maybe trying to get me out of his hair, lol. He's definitely stepped back, cause of retirement for him coming up, I guess. Not sure if I should do 5 units or 10? He wants me to do 20 , nope!

Yes those are the concentration numbers I am using, just need to hang on for 3 more weeks until my surgery on the 18th of September.

You can imagine at those concentrations how hard it is to get off.

ADMIN: this might be better off in the new Delayed Ejaculation/Anorgasmia folder.

Lots of advice and concerns there. Not an unusual problem now that pills and typically then injections are prolonging sex lives. A "good news, bad news" story. My wife says it's some of the best and most exhausting ever. Karma.

Wow Stew your concentrations are like mine my PGE is now .34mcg/ml

Yes its very difficult to get off. I am looking forward to the 18th and beyond. Very tired of being in pain.

I guess I need to revise my sig. Since reading the posts in the (now) anorgasmia thread, several times, and seeing a pretty common cause being PGE, I have been cutting back on PGE and watching for other contributing causes like NSAIDs and Sudafed for sinus issues. Not as hard as long, but servicable beyond partners needs for 30-60 min. She can't take longer every 2-4 days. NOT 28 anymore. Now doing a 10 mg Cialis for a "base", and the .20 ml 30-1-20 plus 0.10 ml 60 mcg/ml PGE and working to cut back PGE even further (~10 mcg PGE). At 67, overuse and time to reload is an issue as well (vasectomy). I am also finding in the ~3 yr of injections (starting with Caverject and now on TM) and that with the more regular use and some PT, it has reconditioned the member and it seems more responsive to ED treatment. The vascularity has markedly increased. Just like doing curls for the biceps. I just hope the earlier higher doses of PGE did not "burn him out". It's just harder to get it off now together. Working on that now.

cooperstone,

Are you sure your quad mix contains 260mcg per ml of alprostadil (PGE-1)? My pharmacist says my mono-mix is some of the strongest he's seen at 80mcg per ml of alprostadil. The most he's done is 100mcg per ml. I didn't specifically ask what the strongest he could do was but from our conversation I inferred it was 100. That was obviously an incorrect assumption. (The good news is I got to use the strike through code.) 8-)

Stew,

I'm not going to try and do the math but I think your current dose of alprostadil (in your post not your signature) is similar to mine which is currently 15 units (.15) of 80mcg per ml alprostadil.

Well I'm obviously wrong.

I just looked and Olympia does a tri-mix with 100mcg/ml of alprostadil and a quad-mix with 150mcg/ml alprostadil. That quad mix is rocket fuel at "Papaverine 30mg/ml - Phent. 3mg/ml - PGE-1 (alprostadil) 150mcg/ml - Atrophine 0.2mg/ml".

Let's see: ".20 ml 30-1-20 plus 0.10 ml 60 mcg/ml PGE " So 0.2 x 20 = 4 mcg, plus, 0.1 x 60 = 6 mcg, and, 4 + 6 - 10 mcg. Plus a bit of papavarine and phentolamine. This is way down from 1x 20 mcg Caverject and sometimes 1 1/2-2 syringes. THAT burned.

Will post this statement in the DE folder too: Chatted with an older cousin today, he's 84 now. He had never used pills or injections and he said he got anorgasmia just by aging. He had phlebitis and used a thinner and used Lipitor for many years. No diabetes, pre-diabetic. So, no PGE there but still bad DE. See long list of possible causes in DE folder.
