Yeah, I think it's worthy of it's own sub-forum. I also think the topic would get considerably more activity if it did. It has been a topic fairly consistently but it's been spread throughout other sub-forums and threads.

Off topic, but I'd also like to see tighter housekeeping in regards to moving threads to more appropriate sub-forums when they don't get initially posted in the most appropriate sub-forum.

Here's another vote for an anorgasmia sub-forum. Some of the anorgasmia comments that have been sprinkled through the other sub-forums are interesting and thought-provoking.

There is, for example, the quite common suspicion that injection therapy or implant surgery might in themselves be triggers for anorgasmia. And there's a trickle of intriguing information about about the relief that some may be finding with the drug wellbutrin.

All stuff worth exploring and talking about.

My experience trying medications to eliminate DE. None of these helped me.

Wellbutrin
Buspirone
Focalin
Pseudophedrine
Mirapex
ciproheptadine
l-histidine

The problem started after taking SSRI for a few months. That was 10 years ago. My urologist thinks it was coincidence, and it it age related. I was 47 when the problems started. I had a vasectomy without any complications around the same time.

I have problems both with ED and delayed ejaculation (DE). Was never very fast to ejaculate but problem got really bad with Prozac and then other SSRIs over twenty years ago. Switching to Wellbutrin/buproprion was not much of an improvement. Radiation for prostate cancer over ten years ago started problems with ED which increased over time. Ejaculate has almost entirely dried up so delayed ejaculation may be the wrong term but I'll use that term instead of delayed orgasm.

Divorced now for many years and do not date. Libido is still strong and masturbation is my only outlet. I use Cialis and sildenafil and get an erection that would not be hard enough for intercourse but until recently was generally hard enough to masturbate to completion. But the pills are getting less and less effective and with the DE frequently will generally lose erection completely before I can ejaculate. I might try once a week but can only ejaculate every 3 or 4 weeks.

I bought a Viberect 3-4 years ago hoping it would help with both the ED and DE, but it was not much help. Tried trimix once in a doctor's office of a urologist I saw for the DE. He thought, and I agree, that a firmer erection would help with the DE also. But the resulting erection wasn't very strong, haven't reached the point of injecting myself, and things are so delayed that I'm not sure it would last long enough. But I guess I'll try it when the pills stop working altogether. Of the drugs mentioned in some of the posts above for DE, I have taken mirapex and oxycontin with no improvement. One prior doctor prescribed naltrexone but no improvement.

Have thought some about an implant but on this site I've read some exchanges about anorgasmia following implants. Then again, the ejaculations are rare enough that there may not be much to lose.

MOST of our implanted members are very happy. You should ask your doctor about taking 2 Viagra... I did and it worked great for about a year. The pharmacist didn't like it but TOUGH, the doctor ordered it. :)

Larry, thanks for your reply. I'll ask the urologist about doubling my dose of sildenafil. I've taken a full dose of cialis at the same time as what he suggested should be my maximum sildenafil and didn't get a very firm erection. Will talk to him. Thanks again. BW

Earlier in this thread, there is some nice, quantitative data from BigEyes on the effect of too much PGE-1 on the ability to orgasm. My personal experience agrees with this, even though I use Trimix rather than the monomix that BigEyes used. I have seen discussions on Franktalk about one injectable medication that does not contain PGE-1; the name is invicorp. It contains phentolamine and vasoactive intestinal peptide. So far as I can find on the Web, invicorp is only available in the UK. In principle, for those of us in the US, one could try to get a compounding pharmacy to make this up. Does anyone know if this is possible? Does anyone outside of the UK know of a way of getting invicorp.
71 years old in 2018; married 49 years. ED since 2001. PD5 inhibitors (Viagra, etc.) worked with increasing dosages until side effects got too bad by 2017. Now using Trimix injections. Delayed ejaculation has been a continuing problem since 2012.

I have been slowly increasing dosing over time for efficacy. Was doing upwards of 30-40 units of 30-2-40 at times. Anorgasmia was setting in pretty bad.

So . . . Just coming off a 3 1/2 month layoff due to a surgery/recovery, virus and pneumonia, and a remodel with guys tramping all over for 2 months now. Right off the bat, I have noticed a better effect at a lower dose and a much more ready orgasm. This was NOT the case before the layoff; it had become nearly impossible. As with pills, we seem to get accustomed to it and some end up updosing and getting more into a burn/pain zone.
NOT an MD. 66, CenTX US. Inj since 12/16 a yr after pills stopped working. Caverject for a yr (35mcg PGE). 1/18 Using Tri-Mix at 30 pap/2 phent/40 pge @ 0.3ml. Supp w/ 0.1-0.2ml 60 mcg/ml PGE1 on occasion for a longer session. Anorgasmia setting in.
