Implants cause anorgasmia

Postby Osprey_1 » Wed Jul 23, 2025 7:53 am

Recently implanted 4 months ago. I now have a numb dick and cannot have an orgasm. Nowhere close. I have been told that if I just wait another 6-12 months, all will be well. I’m not convinced. My implant surgeon just says “you are fine.” I noticed that in the DE section of Fanktalk, it would seem the majority of people suffering from DE are implant patients. Can I conclude from this that the implant procedure CAUSES DE in many many men? This is something that Coloplast and Boston Scientific will or any implant surgeon never discuss (or warn).

That's right. Hang in there. I had the same issue. But it has been resolved and I am just over a year post-op.

First, the surgery there screws up all kinds of nerves and things. Of course it's going to mess up your sensations, etc. But time does heal nerves; at least in most cases.

Second, I discovered that the sertraline (Zoloft) was adding to my issues. Even at a low dose. So I got off that and soon was able to "get off"! All is good now.
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

For me, anorgasmia started after my prostate surgery, which preceded implant by 3-4 years So, I don't think the implant surgery caused the anorgasmia.

It’s not just implants. Trimix use caused my DE. Have not been able to have a penetration orgasm since injection number 4 and am now up to 539. If i can get to orgasm, it’s with a fleshlight and usually takes over an hour. I’ve definitely had numb dick for a long time now.
