Just scheduled my implant surgery for late June. Exciting! And by "exciting" I mean slightly terrifying.

Part of my fear is that it's so permanent; there's no going back. But then I think that what is there to go back to? A bent dick that couldn't get 50% erect after two *mix injections during my doppler.
I'll probably go with the AMS 700 CX, which the doctor recommended. Implant plus a graft lengthen the Peyronie's bend.
Anyone have recovery tips or things they wished they knew before going through the surgery?

Get some good underwear to wear, it will be a little sore for awhile. Seperatec , jockey and there are more. Good luck and keep us posted on the AMS.

I ordered some vasectomy underwear with a pouch for ice packs. My regular trunks should be supportive and comfortable enough, but think with the pouch it will be easier to keep the pack in place.

I anticipate getting pain meds, but I also have Dermoplast antiseptic/pain relief spray, Aspercreme, and Neosporin in the first aid drawer. I also have Hibiclens already, but am not sure when it's safe to use any of those.

I'm going to stock up on groceries since I don't know how long it will be before I can drive and go to the store. I'm more concerned about being able to walk the dog. :( Wondering if I'll have to hire someone.

I also have no idea WTF I'm going to do being off work for 2-3 weeks. :?

Sounds like you have a plan of action, you might have to hire a dog walker for a few days but it is worth it, my glans were the most sensitive, couldn't stand any rubbing, hell I would put a condom on and wear all day to work. I did read on here someone recommended baby socks, that sounds like a way to go as well. Wish you the best and you are going to feel like a new man once you heal all up, give it time.

baby socks work best if you cut the elastic out of the top of them ...
