Most times, ED is ED. But sometimes, concerns are going to be different.

Bottom ?

Postby teddy01 » Sat May 06, 2023 2:07 pm

Hello,
I'm 28 and have a big problem. Since a medical exam, i have neither sensitivity or erections.. I'm so sad because i was in love with someone.. I'm sure i lost him as i was really sad by this exam.
As a bottom, is it possible to meet someone if you don't have erections or sensitivity ?
Thanks a lot,

Thanks a lot,

I will tell you, "Yes".
Having and maintaining a relationship does not depend on sexual capacity alone. There are many, many aspects of relationships that come into play.

Hold him (or let him hold you) and divulge your fears. Trust is a lot more durable than any erection.

What kind of medical exam is so invasive that it ruined your erections and sensations? That is so scary, and sounds like medical malpracticing.

Pelvic EMG?
Is this what you had? a test to determine if the nerves that supply your sphincter muscle are intact and that all your muscles relax and contract as they should. These tests are performed by measuring the electrical activity with a small sponge in the anus, or by stimulating the nerve with a small electrode.

I know people who have had EMG tests on their arms and complained that it was extremely painful and I had one on my legs and found it tolerable. I cannot imagine how it would feel internally, but I have had a prostate biopsy (felt about like bee sting - but a bee sting inside my ass, and 18 of them in succession) No joking around. I do feel sympathy for your pain.

The reason I am posting is to let readers know that EMG if done properly is a medical procedure that does have benefits. And, of course, all medical procedures carry risks, too. But every person must weigh risk against benefit.

I pray that your nerves and function will recover over time. If you need a similar diagnostic test in the future, perhaps to determine a treatment to speed your recovery or to further examine whatever underlying problem the EMG was for, I think a pelvic ultrasound certainly will be safer. There is nothing placed inside you.

Transabdominal ultrasound is a non-invasive, valid and reliable tool that can be used to assess pelvic floor muscle contraction. By placing the ultrasound probe supra-pubically the examiner can evaluate both the squeeze and lift component of the contraction.

I am sure if you could be okay with being 100% bottom that you could also find a person that could be happy with you also. Not sure about that procedure.
