Agfa13's advice is very good. My girlfriend and I have tried prostate massage and I have experienced no bleeding. Lube (distributed with a syringe and small diameter tube to a depth to match the massage tool AND generously between my butt-cheeks and rectum). Then ease the dildo in very slowly while I relax my anal sphincter. I also clean out with a warm-water enema beforehand. (I believe being cleaned out in my colon allows me to relax with regard to unintentional release of feces, which allows me to comfortably relax my anus.)

Ah, yes. Communication is essential. Sex is a cooperative activity and a mis-match in desires (both the types of activity and the levels/frequency) is something that needs to be worked out.

Step one is to be open about your desires. Not necessarily asking her to do anything, but just to hear you. And probably not all at once, either. Just telling her you want to talk about sexual activities "some time in the future" might be all it takes to get the ball rolling. You don't know if she has unspoken desires also.

Do you use lube in the 1st place?
You can break the ice talking about when lube is used for too, or just watch a porn movie that has both anal and vaginal sex.
