Singing praises for Trimix

I’m 57; and have had PE since I was young, then developed BPH and some ED over the last fifteen years or so. Early this year, I learned about testosterone replacement therapy which has been awesome for a number of reasons, but didn’t resolve either my PE or my ED as I had hoped and some said it would. Over the years, I regretted being unable to perform longer, and in the last couple of years maintenance of an erection was increasingly elusive.

Viagra and the like worked more or less, but the side effects made it difficult to enjoy the fun. A couple of weeks ago, I just had to rule that out. (It's really hard to perform when I can't breathe... :)

My urologist wrote me a prescription for trimix two weeks ago, but there was little orientation, and no in-office checkflight. I had read that a ‘dry run’ (excuse the pun) in the Dr.’s office would be typical, so I wanted to know more before I used it. There are a number of sites with varying levels of useful advice, but franktalk.org is superior in that users are actively participating, the content is current, and a wide variety of topics are well-handled.

Anyway, I'm not using Trimix EVERY time, but using it most of the time. My wife and I get together sexually about 3x/week. Suffice it to say these things:
a) It works, and perhaps even a little more aggressively than I expected. I've had to cut the starting dose of 0.2ML in half after having a 4-hour erection.
b) It works, and it's worth noting that SHE felt the difference.
c) It works, and I certainly felt the difference. I've used it once in a solo situation to see what all was going on, and while I was the same length as always, I have MUCH more girth than EVER. (Ref.: Paragraph b)
d) It works, and while I still came earlier than I would like, I can keep going for quite some time. (Don't recommend a 4-hour marathon, however.)
e) It works, and while I was a little squeamish about the whole needle-into-penis thing... it's really about painless and quite easy to do.
f) Did I mention that it works?

Clayton,

Way to go, Bro .. and for being brave (or foolish?) enough to try it yourself the first time.

Sometimes a Doc can be a little too laid back -- but you could have insisted on having him show you how.

That said, well, it worked!

Congrats and all good.

It is nice to hear that. What is nmost important is that both of you are enjoying it and have noticed the difference. I never heard of Trimix before but you have just woken up my curiousity. Who knows I may have to use it one day.

Trimix Is the ED chocolate for some men. It works great for me and my O's are intense and I have no problems with PE. I did prior to my radiation for prostate cancer. Trimix sems to calm down the sensation giving me lots more time to pump and please my wife. I use 50units in an insulin needle. Also I keep a good hard erection for a good hour or more sometimes after two hours. It lasts longer when I stay off my BP meds prior to intercourse. I take them afterwards. Even after the trimix and sex my penis keeps it's size for quiet a while. If you haven't tried trimix because of the thought of sticking your dick with a needle, trust me and others who tell you. It's just a little stick and the little pain is worth the awesome pleasure. Bryan

I am 50 years old and have not exactly had total ED, just not hard enough to use. I tried Trimix (not sure if it's the same thing you guys in the US are using but I HATED IT. First, there is no spontaneity. I had to inject it cold, it hurt like hell, it was very expensive (about $130 for 3 doses) and the first suggested dose didn't work so I had to keep upping it up by .25 ml. I'll bet when I found a dose that worked, I would only get 2 doses in a bottle which would be $65 plus needles and alcohol wipes. Totally sucks... just my opposing opinion.

Trimix was great for me! I loved it! I could play the drums with my rod, lol. I was up to 0.5ml and could go for about 2hrs, erection would last for an addition hour or so..

I used the autoJect in the beginning as I couldn't find the courage to jam my lil dude with a needle... autoJect helped in the beginning but was more time to set up then worth, after about 5 uses I just started to use needle alone.

My insurance covered my trimix and it cost me about $30 for 2 vials which I got about 16 uses from.

My issue with trimix wasn't the poking part, it was mainly the spontaneity of it, once you were heating up and getting things going, I'd have to cut out to the fridge (always had a couple syringes on standby) and go jab myself in the restroom and work my erection up kinda killing the whole mood... when I got back about 5 min later we got back in to things but the whole "time out" thing was crap.

I also travel a lot with my wife and when we travel I have to make sure I take some ice to keep my stash cool and enough for however long our trip required...

The discreetness was also a another issue for me as I have kids still at home, and syringes in the fridge are not a normal sight, I just told them they were my back up "insulin" in case of emergency...

You're married and five minutes was a mood killer? I can inject in less than 90 seconds and climb back into bed with the wife. My penis gets hard on its own while I give her very pleasurable oral for a few minutes. True, Trimix isn't perfect, but there are workarounds.

Cigar,

I'll be starting trimix in 2 weeks. Your 90 seconds intrigues me. How do you do that?

If I were to pre-fill the syringe ahead of time, how long can it be un-refrigerated?

Hahahaha! 5 min is a very long time when you're in the middle of leaving her with legs spread, bent over, hanging off the edge of a chair, or whatever, to say "give me a couple minutes, I'll be back"...

And radioradio, I have left my filled syringes out a few times for up to 8-10 hours and its potency always remained the same... only time potency was questionable was 3-6 months after expiration.

the 90 second injection sounds about right but you have to add the ""Massaging" of the mix which usually took me anywhere from 2-3min to get it going plus travel time to the refrigerator...

Also, I never injected in front of my wife... it just didn't feel cool to do that, I had to leave the room, to each his own..
