Sertaline or Zoloft

One out of Three men in America suffer with PE. It's the largest sexual dysfunction there is. Since there is no discussion board dedicated to PE so far, we will try to fill the need here!

Sertaline or Zoloft

Postby Budward » Tue Mar 19, 2024 2:19 pm

I am reading a lot about Sertaline for treating PE. I guess it is named Zoloft. How does this compare to the other meds.
Can you use it only on the days before injection? Don't want to get on long term Zoloft or any other anti depressant.

I took Paroxetine (paxil) for 3.5 years to help with my PE.
I took 10mg daily. Unfortunately, sex only happened once a week or less.

It did help. But ultimately was bandaid at best. Plus I gained weight as a result of being on it.
The studies I read that if you take it as needed (day of sex), it needs to be taken 2-3 hours prior.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD

I took Sertaline the last trimix shot. two pills two hours before and I did indeed not come in 3 minutes. Had a very good session. Thank God for this resurrection and thanks to all of you.

Sertaline, commonly known as Zoloft, is indeed used in some cases to treat premature ejaculation (PE). It's classified as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), a type of antidepressant. While it can be effective for PE, its use is off-label, meaning it's not specifically approved by regulatory agencies for this purpose.

Comparing Zoloft to other medications for PE, such as SSRIs like fluoxetine (Prozac) or paroxetine (Paxil), there isn't a clear superiority of one over the others. Each individual may respond differently to different medications, so it's essential to consult with a healthcare provider to find the most suitable option.

Regarding your concern about long-term use, it's understandable. Using Zoloft solely on an as-needed basis, such as taking it only on the days before anticipated sexual activity, isn't a common practice. SSRIs generally require consistent use over a period of weeks to months to reach their full effect on PE. Additionally, abruptly starting and stopping SSRIs can lead to withdrawal symptoms and may not provide the desired therapeutic benefit for PE.

If you're reluctant to commit to long-term antidepressant use, discussing alternative treatment options with your healthcare provider is crucial. They can explore non-pharmacological interventions or short-term medication strategies tailored to your specific needs and concerns. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting or stopping any medication regimen.

Try topsup24.com, ordered generics there many times. It is really hard to find a good source nowadays, good luck in your search.
