Trazadone for PE

One out of Three men in America suffer with PE. It's the largest sexual dysfunction there is. Since there is no discussion board dedicated to PE so far, we will try to fill the need here!

Trazadone for PE

Postby Hawkman » Mon May 14, 2018 10:35 am

This is not my issue but I saw the board and thought I would share. Trazadone is a dirt cheap old antidepressant that is prescribed off-label for a couple other things. The smallest tablet made is 50 mg. Cut in half and taken with a snack right before bedtime it is used as a sleep aid. A side effect is that it often causes night-time erections (NTE) which are generally healthy for the penis if you do not get sufficient NTE's.

Another "side-effect is that you can have delayed orgasm. I have noticed this myself. How common this is or how effective for a specific person's PE I do not know but most doctors would not hesitate to prescribe such a small dose. I would take it 45 - 60 prior to sex. It absorbs better with some food so eat a light snack.

Good Luck.
PSL: with insurance, 30 tablets cost me $1.46 so less than 2 cents for a half of a pill.

Pre-Viagra, Trazadone was often prescribed as an ED remedy. I was on it until the blue pill arrived.

I have tried it in the past and it was horrible, not effective at all and side effects were unbearable.

Oral phentolamine mesylate is much more effective and it will also improve PE.

Oral phentolamine mesylate is an approved ED treatment in several countries (Brazil, Mexico, China) but not in the US.

It is a popular ED treatment in China and there are several Chinese online stores that sell it.

If shipping to your country is a problem, you can find a Chinese forwarder at http://www.parcl.com I highly recommend Oliver Deng, he's an excellent forwarder and is already familiar with oral phentolamine.

I removed those links because I'm not allowed to post them on FT. But, again, you should find a reliable Chinese forwarder who can buy and ship those pills.

Wow. You may have inadvertently answered an issue I have been experiencing for the past few months. I do not have PE, and in fact, have been one that go for a while. It never used to be a problem, and in fact was something I was proud of. But in addition the the erection issues that I have had, for the past few months I have been experiencing very delayed ejaculation. WAY longer than my normal, and sometimes I have been unable to ejaculate (orgasm) at all. Very frustrating for me as I couldn't figure out why I am having this issue.
But my doctor has prescribed me Trazadone for my sleep issues and I take a pretty good dosage, 150mg nightly. The fact that I am now taking Trazadone and coincidentally have been experiencing delayed or failure to ejaculate, now seems linked more than just chance. I feel your post made me aware of a side-effect that was new to me. Thanks! I will be investigating this more.

This is a bit surprising, in my case trazodone and yohimbine had the exact opposite effect: insomnia, restlessness, nightmares, side effects were unbearable. Everyone is different and reactions vary a lot.
