I have 2 questions for you:

1. Before performing sclerotherapy, did Dr. Keuhhas confirm through a doppler ultrasound test that you had a venous leak?

2. When did you get sclerotherapy?

Make sure you give yourself enough time to give a true assessment of your results...

As for me, there is no doubt in my mind that sclerotherapy did not work. I got sclerotherapy more than 3 months ago and I did not notice any improvements. Pills don't work. Injections work but I am afraid of the long term effect of sticking needles into my penis. Few days ago, I came across a thread about Vacuum Restriction Devices (penis pumps). I had it done 6 weeks ago. Yes i had the ultrasound, but I didn't have venous leak according to his parameters. Had good inflow and outflow which is strange because i had classic signs of venous leak. Dr. was confident I would be cured but was not to be.

Strange though, for the first few days after surgery my glans and CS filled with blood then it stopped filling with blood after about the 4th day. Still had decent erections, some morning wood for the next 2 weeks but glans and CS was not filling up with blood. Then after the 2nd week its like a light switch turned off during one session and I've been to pre-surgery status since then.

God I'm so sorry for you. I have an idea how it feels or might feel when it gets to that stage.

If you have no leak, why did you get the procedure? There must be something else going on, perhaps several things. I'm positive your mind is not helping matters. I've been told I have no leak but without pills I'm useless, most of the time. I'm single at the moment and I know my mind is making me live in fear so much so that when I next engage, I fear I'll have problems, even with the pills. My mental strife is that bad. Could this be mostly a psychogenic thing you're going through?

Does anything get you hard enough for prolonged sex? If so, I think it's just about finding that one woman you're so comfortable with who will be there for you through thick and thin and gradually becoming comfortable with sex and trying to wean whatever you're using until you're doing it naturally.

If you have good outflow and inflow, check you test levels. Also have your overall health assessed.

It's been about 13 months since I had the sclerotherapy done and the improvements still remain for me.

I also was dealing with hormone issues (low T, high E2) which improved with medicine. Once hormones looked good, I still felt my Testosterone was not high enough for what my body needed. I had started to lose desire and some sensation and body composition was getting a bit soft. I also had bi-lateral varicocelle, which among other things can cause testicular damage and low T.

I decided to have laparoscopic varicocelectomy surgery by my uro & he clipped off 3 large varicocelle on the left side and 2 on the right side. It's been about a month since the operation & the results have exceeded my expectations. I have desire back, full sensation again, hard morning wood every morning & hard errections on demand. I still take the 5mg Cialis a day, as my uro says it is good for penis health.

I haven't had blood tests yet to confirm if the above is due to improved hormones (higher T) or if was the varicocelle that was causing some of the negatives.

Is this a miracule cure - seems not based on stats. I think one point to remember is that multiple guys here had the surgery even though the ultrasound before did not show a venous leak

Before the operation, did you all have 3D-CT-Cavernosography?

I had the procedure done 13 months ago and did not have a cavernosogram. Only a penile doppler.

The procedure did exactly what Herwig's research article said it was designed to do - reduce the required dosage of ED drugs needed to acheieve a satisfactory erection. It is NOT repeat NOT a cure. Although the procedure helped me a small amount I would advise anyone considering this to pool the money into saving up for an implant instead. To my knowledge none of the people on this forum have said it offered them a complete and permanent cure.
