You probably have a thyroid problem ,and that is all. Fix and mend the thyroid and everything else will get back in order. Whenever I've had any complaints, related to energy, sleep, performance my doctors all check my thyroid through blood tests. My point is the thyroid is important and can be related to many things.
Another thing to consider is your masterbation habits. If you are too rough then lighten up. That might help with the numbness. When I talk to a doctor, I just speak about the erection quality. I have never had a doctor get too personal about whether or not I am having sex with a partner. All men are entitled to erections, and it should not matter if one is single or partnered, masterbating or having penis in vagina intercourse.

SWM/never married. 40 years and not experienced. Injuries/trauma at young age due to lack of guidance and good sex ed. Low libido, loss of sensitivity/numbness. Possible PD and probable PSSD. No tests or doppler. Offered tadalafil, clomid and sildenafil

I am sorry but this is not factually correct. Many seaweeds have very high levels of iodine. A properly planned vegan diet can't be blamed for ED. In the gym where I train, I am friends with 2 vegan bodybuilders who look absolutely fantastic and don't have ED.

A properly planned vegan diet can't be blamed for ED.
That’s an excellent point. The operative words being; “properly planned”
It sounds like the OP only became aware of his iodine deficiencies after symptoms set in. I agree with Txagq8. There’s a good possibility the body may heal and reverse some of the damage over time.
Eliminating food groups can cause nutrient deficiencies. Any abrupt radical diet change requires full understanding how to properly adjust for those deficiencies to avoid serious health risks. In a similar but different way, I learned my lesson years ago when the Atkins Diet was the big craze. Now I subscribe to an “all things in moderation diet”.

Re: veganism ruined my life!
to make a few thinks clear:
- the diet was NOT proplerly planned, i forgot the iodine
- the deficiency was diagnosed after the numbness occured (and all the other symptoms) and very much too late
- hormones and nutrients have been tested MULTIPLE times from different doctors. It was a deficiency, not hypothyroidism. A few weeks after taking iodine pills the thyoid hormones became perfectly fine and never worsened.
- all of the symptoms of "hypothyroidism" are 100% gone except for the ED and the numbness
- the numbness didn't come from masturbation, I'm not masturbating with a drilling machine or something

I disagree with you thereishope. Diet is probably one of the most important facets related to our good health and proper functioning alongside lifestyle and genetics. Many of the gentlemen on this forum are suffering with ED as a consequence of diet and lifestyle. Genetics also play an important role. I suggest you do some reading on oxidative stress and diabetes. Fascinating, as always.
I couldn't agree more, erectile function is an extremely complex, multifactorial process and lifestyle options may have a drastic impact.
I know from personal experience that antioxidants (e.g. PRELOX) may be extremely helpful, I quit simply because it was too expensive.
I had never heard of iodine, though. Fascinating stuff!
I'd love to read some study on diet / sexual function.
If nerve damage is the problem of the OP, maybe he's a good candidate for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Only a doctor can say.
