Cures

Postby Rawness1111 » Sat Aug 10, 2019 6:36 pm

I am a 32 year old man from the u.s. after going through a divorce and not having sex for a year I have been suddenly struck with severe ed. I noticed I had a problem a couple of months ago when I attempted sex and three times in a row I could not perform. I called Boston medical group and decided to get and injection. It worked but I have been feeling very drained many days later and when I was getting semi every morning now I get nothing again. I have heard of stories where people have found ways to treat their erectile dysfunction but I have not heard of any stories from anyone other than youtube personality that are trying to sell you their all natural product where erectile dysfunction has been totally cured. I have seen articles where they say that it is curable but not one non selling person actually say that they no longer rely on whatever medication to have a successful sex life other than implants. So, is there actually a cure for erectile dysfunction for anyone other than implants. Is it possible to cure this from my life or only treat. I just would love to hear one story from someone not trying to get views or sell anything to tell their complete reversal story.

Probably your first step should be to stay away from Boston Medical Group. These ripoff artists can't do anything for you that other physicians can't, and charge you MUCH more for the medication they dispense. Then find a urologist with expertise in men's sexual health - not all urologists are so qualified. If you can't get a referral from your PCP you could check with your nearest teaching hospital.

There are three basic treatments (not cures - there is no such thing) for ED: oral medications, injections and implantation. I don't include vacuum erection devices (VED) because they can be useful for therapy but very few people find them usable for sex.

The usual progression for men with ED is oral meds, then injections, and finally implantation. Many get along with the first two for a long time before going for the implant.

Finding a good urologist is the place to start. Good luck to you.

So, as previously stated. Once you have it. It can only be managed not cured.

"Suddenly struck " with E.D. suggests an event being the cause. Physical or psychological, such a cause can sometimes be reversed (thus actually curing the E.D.). But if it is not reversible, there are treatments that provide a permanent or semi-permanent cure (but most are, sadly, not successful in all but a few cases).

When I first joined FrankTalk, I took a couple weekends to read through two and a half years of posts/threads with titles that interested me and appeared informative. I recommend this to you. It will give you a better basis for forming questions and understanding the answers.

I also recommend doing extensive research (echoing dg_moore's advice) on your chosen urologist/sexual health physician and interview him (or her) pointedly and make yourself an integral part of the medical team. (Of course, many men choose not to do that and I cannot fault them - just do what is comfortable for your personality and approach to your medical care.)

Do not neglect the other ways sexual satisfaction may be achieved without the radical (and irreversible) treatment of an implant. Remember, an implant is not a cure. Just a treatment. The success stories here make it seem as if sex after implant is a panacea. For those unable to be satisfied without coitus, it pretty much is, but it is not better than sex was with a fully functioning natural penis and rules out any future treatments or actual cures that may be coming in the future. Unfortunately the future is uncertain and our life on this planet is limited. So, we balance the trade-offs.

Remember that women are incredibly supportive if they feel trusted, respected and safe.

Life is too short to miss the joys of sex and too long to endure its absence.

Everyone is different and only a urologist can pinpoint the exact cause of your ED (psychogenic, vasculogenic, other).

In my case, I suffered from sexual performance anxiety for many years and oral drugs were extremely effective: Cialis + phentolamine mesylate, taken as needed. Sometimes I would also take valerian root extract, a mild anxiolytic that also improves erections.

Oral phentolamine is an approved ED drug in several countries and you can get pills at www.openchinacart.com

You can get valerian supplements in any herbal store.

Today I'm 42 years old and I no longer need any of these drugs, my sex life is perfectly normal.
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.
