The medications in the article sound interesting for the future. However, the new medication containing dapoxetine would be a disaster for those of us who suffer from delayed ejaculation. Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor; the SSRIs are notorious for inhibiting ejaculation or preventing it altogether.
71 years old in 2018; married 49 years. ED since 2001. PD5 inhibitors (Viagra, etc.) worked with increasing dosages until side effects got too bad by 2017. Now using Trimix injections. Delayed ejaculation has been a continuing problem since 2012.

The opposite is (usually) true for SSRE's... less adverse effects on sexual functions and "can" be effective in men with depression and erectile dysfunction.

Excellent article, thank you for sharing this.

I have already tried some of these drugs: apomorphine worked really well, trazodone didn't.

I would add oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg to that list: it's not a new drug but there are studies that show its efficacy and it is approved ED treatment in several countries.
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.
