Hello,
I'm getting ready for an implant operation and still have not decided which (maleable or pump) device is best. I'd really love to find some fellows that have gotten an implant and would be willing to discuss the pros and cons with me. Thanks MUCH!
Johnny

I have the AMS 700 LGX. Pump type. Personally I would not recommend the maleable rod type.

I have the Coloplast Titan OTR 31cm Inflatable Penile Prosthetic that was installed 1 month ago. My Urologist chose this model for me based on the size of my penis in length and girth. While I did lose 1.75 inches during implantation, I gained in girth, while still maintaining a length of over 8 inches.

I had a Coloplast Titan installed last December, lost a little length but now I can get an workable rigid erection. And a little length lost is a small price to pay for an erect penis. I wouldn't like the malleable rods because it would appear that you had a hard-on all of the time.
Hope this helps
Sandy

Go all the way and get the right stuff! Don't want the malleable dick because it causes more problems. Wish you the best of luck no matter what your choice is ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Also in the wrong year - the most recent post above is five years old.

While inarguably dated, two years is the number and the subject still contains a valid question. Malleable/semi-rigid implants are still available and still appropriate for some men\, though a small number.
