VED therapy

Postby franglais » Wed Nov 18, 2020 6:24 pm

Where is a good place to buy a VED?? If one wants to start using one after a number of years, obviously it should be started gradually. Just trying to see where those who have used them purchased them.... and were you satisfied with the quality? Any to avoid??

Thanks!

I think you can pretty much buy any of them online now. Depending on insurance coverage it might be worth asking your doctor for a script. One of the sponsors for this forum has a link on the left side of this page selling what appears to be a medical grade VED system. I have no personal experience with the brand. Osbon Erecaid is the brand I have. I like it but I haven't had the opportunity to compare it with the other brands. A google search will turn up numerous sellers. There are plenty of sex shop versions to be found. Some may be well worth their cost. I don't have any to recommend.

I have a VED device from LA pumps.
I like it. I saw them selling at a higher end adult store.
I used it for a year or then I stopped. Now I am doing it again.
Customer service basically told me what to get.
I dropped it on a sodden floor. Cracked the cylinder. I got some glue from the hobby store. Glued it up it is still going. When I was looking the one you are talking about was very expensive. One of the reasons why I did not get the one you are looking at is because I was afraid the motorized pump would fail. Online I saw a post that said the hand pump is the same as the one from harbor freight. I don’t know. They also sell replacement pump. You can get another pump and attach the hose or fitting to another pump. Auto parts store or online you can get a hand held vacuum pump.
The lubricant I bought another one
Was cheaper and it works.
I bought a cock ring from him I did not like that.
I disconnect the tube from the hose with the lock fitting.
I put a little silicone grease on the O-ring. Silicone won’t destroy rubber. LA pumps sells the replacement O-rings. Can get aftermarket O-rings. Good auto parts store also. I guess even A/C O-rings would work.
I don’t work for them or get anything out of this.
Some say VED and some say stretchers work.
Bath mate is another but has to be done with water. Or I think in the shower.
Good luck.
Thinking of getting implant. Have not done it because of the length I
have lost.

I got my pump online from Augusta Medical and I've had it for at least 10 years. The cylinder cracked once and they replaced it free except for shipping. I use it twice a week for intercourse, and use a Prelude for daily therapy. Prelude is a one-piece suction device that gives a natural-feeling erection. I use it daily for about 15 minutes.

A quick question. Is there a safe way to use those devices? I've seen a few guys mentioning that they injured themselves with VEDs which is kind of throwing me off, that is unless I know how I could use them safely.

Here are my opinions. Based on my observations of my own experience (limited as it is) with VED use.

My first sign of potential injury was edema. I pumped up a bit too enthusiastically and got an alarming swelling that looked like a big blister. I researched and found out what it was and that it was not serious if not severe. I laid off pumping for several days and it resolved.

My suggestion is to pump until your penis is no more than 1/4" to 1/2" longer inside the vacuum than it is (erect) outside the vacuum. When I went to 3/4" longer, I got edema.

If you get more pain than a mild stretchy feeling, back off. You don't want to tear the tissue of your tunica.

30 minutes twice a day was sufficient for me to maintain my size (I had lost no size to ED when I started using the VED) during the 14 months it took for me to get the implant. So I expect that more than that is wasted effort.

What, I would've freaked tf out :!: It's a good thing it resolved by itself (whew).

Very helpful to know. I'll keep all this in mind, you may have very well saved me from a world of hurt. Thanks for taking the time to share these tips!

I pumpws long enough to burst a small vein. It burn't a little, and sealed on it's own after a few days. Stopped until it healed, but haven't started again, I guess I'm chicken. But physically I'm sure I'm OK, it's the mental dread that scares me.
