Heard Jay Leno tell this joke on Bill Maher last night:

A guy having no luck with women sees his buddies successfully picking up women and asks them their secret. They make a bunch of useless suggestions and he says "Can't you come up with anything better?" One of his pals says "Sure - just put a potato in your shorts."

A while later the guy comes back, dejected, and says "That didn't work either." His pals asked him to explain, and then said "You're supposed to put it in front."

Ha ha, Dave heard that years ago but it was with a speedo on the beach and instead of picking up women they ran screaming.

Jay Leno is a great joke teller - this one just tickled me when I heard it.
