A few months after grandpa passed away the granddaughter asked grandma about grandpa's health. Grandma said he was in great health except his heart. It was a beautiful Sunday morning when he passed while we were having sex, grandma said.
What? the granddaughter asked, hardly believing her 90+ year old grandparents were still active sexually.
Yes, grandma said. We knew our health didn't allow us to engage like we used to, so Sunday mornings were perfect. The church bells would ring, and the pace the bells rang was a perfect tempo for us to not cause grandpa heart issues.
I bet he'd still be alive if that damn ice cream truck hadn't driven by.
