Welcome to FT. I suffered from a severe Venous Leak that went undetected for years. My case may be very different from yours so this is not to alarm you, but just to share my experience. I tried every pill, injection, vacuum pump, various rings, etc. Some things would work in a mediocre sort of way for a while and then loose effectiveness. Once my VL was finally confirmed I began to wonder if the pressure caused by the tension rings was actually creating a bigger leak. I don’t know that for fact, but looking back it sure seems quite possible. One thing for certain is the VL doesn’t get better on its own. I eventually got an implant, which you should not jump into, but it is wonderful for me to once again have erections like I had in my prime. I wish you the best with your issue.

None of us have any guarantee of what will work for us in the future. As I have told others who are scared about an implant, if you are, you are not ready. I believe for most of us there just comes a point where we have exhausted other options and come to the realization we haven’t got much to lose by getting an implant and potentially have a lot to gain. I got to that point and thankfully I have gained my sex life back, my self-esteem, and penis size I had lost.

A Penile Implant will not help your glans engorge. If you have that issue now, you will likely have it after getting an implant, too. However, I have to tell you my glans stopped engorgememt g following my Prostevtomy, but I have regained it since the implant surgery. I think that wasanissie of timing, not the implant. A well-sized Implant will extend up into the glans so it won’t be floppy or fold over during sex. My cylinders reach close to the tip of my dick.

There are guys here who use cock rings with their implants to help with engorgememt. I do not-and haven’t asked my doctor about it.

My story is a severe Venous Leak that came on quickly at age 30. I had a great sex life from 16-30 and after that it went downhill. I am now 62 so that was a long time ago. There weren’t all the pills, etc. I was told it was in my head because an injection a doctor gave me worked. I was flat on my back on the exam table and later realized I could maintain an erection if I wasquite still and flat on my back, but lost it if I rolled over or sat up or stood up. It wasn’t until several years ago a doctor sent me for a Penile Doppler Test to confirm the severe Venous Leak. Had I known that years ago I would have had the implant years ago.

Have you tried foregoing the rings on your shaft and just using a milder novelty ring just behind the glans?
