Hello,
I am 51 and have suffered from ED most of my life. I only remember one relationship where I did not have problems, and that is when I was in my 20's and a very active athlete.
I have been using Viagra since my early 40’s. Although it seems to only work part of the time. I recently started a new relationship, and it has been frustrating. I will get an erection using the Viagra, (50mg) and if we are ready can have sex. But if we wait, the erection goes, and can’t get it back. Seems I wait on the Viagra erection and have sex on its timing, if at all.
Recently I visited Boston Medical, where they gave me a prescription for their “Formula 9”. It was very expensive, about $750.00 for 30 injections, at 40 units each. I am trying lower doses, 20 and 25 units with the Viagra. Have only tried twice to date, without my girlfriend. The results are pretty good. A good erection for 20 to 30 minutes. We are going on a 3 day trip this week, so will put to the test then.
I am also taking Maca, Yohimbe, and Horny Goat Weed to try and help, which these do seem to help. Especially the Maca, as my semen volume was almost nill until I started taking it.
I really have no idea what I am doing, so just trying desperately to come up with solutions. I hope that this site will help to shed insight, and have good advice. So I welcome any and all suggestions.

Welcome, Treetop,

After three years of mediocre results with Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis, I started injections of Trimix in November. I can tell you that I have wood like I haven't seen in decades.

I'd be curious to learn what you're injecting. Your formula seems expensive. My trimix vial was $110 and it has lasted 4 months so far. And my insurance does not pay anything for EQ drugs. I only use 0.06 ml per shot and never go more than 3 times per week per doctor's orders. I experimented with the dosage to find the right amount; I suggest that you do the same.

The only potential "drawback" to using trimix I have found seems to be some difficulty or delay in achieving orgasm and/or ejaculation during sex. Masturbation seems to be less of an issue. Informal polling suggest that this is not uncommon among injection users. But given a choice between limp and hard, I'll take hard all day long and deal with whatever inconveniences that may result. I don't want you to expect difficulty along these lines; just don't be surprised. The flip side is that you can

Thanks Greg!! I agree, longer or dificulty having orgasm is a small price to pay, compared to the embarasment and disapointment that comes otherwise. Espiecially when your girl friend is handling the goods, and they go from rock hard to limp and she thinks its her fault, or just disapointed.

Anyway, thanks again!!

Tree,

I do have one suggestion for you to consider. One of the things I really like about my trimix injections is being able to "go twice", as they say. So you might want to experiment with the dosage before your trip to find what gives you a strong 60 to 90 minute hard-on. Or a hard-on that's easily recoverable. Just sayin'.

Wishing you hard times, my friend.

Greg,
Very true. And after talking to her tonight about it, she is very excited. So will probably do the full 40 units at least the first night. She really liked the idea of a full hour! So, who am I to say no.... :)
Great advise!!
