Hello all,...

Postby kenguy » Fri Oct 18, 2013 1:27 pm

I was surfing around the internet and came upon this group. Very glad I did. I'm in my early 70's but still enjoy sexual activity. However, I have had high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes for about 15 years now. It's under control with meds, but the meds have taken its toll on my ability to get good erections that last a while. Been taking generic viagra via a phamacy in canada. Helps a little, but I still not great. I'm open to trying other reasonable approaches to dealing with the problem and I hope to find direction in your postings. My wife is very understanding of things and that makes life a lot better. I'll try to post information now and then when the need arises. Thanks for being there guys.

Kenguy...

Welcome to FrankTalk !!!

I have been here about 3 years now, and have found the solution that works for me!

I am 75, married, and been bothered with ED since the late 90's. Viagra worked for a while, then the other pills, but lastly, I began Trimix Injections which continue to get the job done ever since I became a member here.

A great urologist should be your next step. I wish you well in your own pursuit, and encourage you to join us in the Chatroom.

Welcome to FT Kenguy.
I am 74 and developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
The "standard" ED Treatment Modalities, PDE5 Inhibitors (Viagra, etc,), Vacuum Pump and Injections did not perform to my satisfaction. Therefore, I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007. The Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional bond with my wife.
If you choose this route, I urge you to find a highly regarded and experienced implant Surgeon.
Hope this is helpful.
Bob

Thanks for the input guys. I'm confident that I will find results with the input from those who have travelled this road before me. This website is a great help.
