Is Something Wrong with "View Active Topics?"

Postby thinktank » Fri May 17, 2013 10:55 am

Hello FrankTalkers

For about a week now I have been clicking "View Active Topics" and have been noting older posts without the updates from new posts that I see in the "Index" section of this website.

I am wondering if other members are having this same problem with that feature of this website. It may be a problem with my computer, but it is frustrating to have to search for new and active posts in the "Index" section of this website.

Anybody else out there having this problem or is it just me and my computer not updating "View Active Topics?"\

Thanks

I've been getting the same thing, and I hit the re-fresh tab in my browser.
That will update it.

I have had the same problem, Jere and ThinkTank. Also, after I have logged in, I have to click on the "Logout" button to see my name logged in again to see the Members Only tab. Often after I have posted something, it doesn't seem to appear again that same session. I would say that something has changed besides my computer. John

I have internet explorer and something is not right on this website.

I am growing disappointed in the updating of files and posts on this site.

I come here to see what is posted recently and I can hardly believe that no one has posted since May 26 as this site is telling me.

I don't want to be history on this site but something here is out of wack.

Yes, the server software on this site is defective. It affects some browsers more than others, and its is also affected by your browser settings. Tell your browser to flush (or delete) the cache each time you access this site and you should see new postings.
