Surgery scheduled in 2-1/2 weeks. Pretty nervous. I have had trouble with ED for along time, 30 plus years. I struggled through it and within the last 5 years, I have exhausted all options, so implant it is. I am average to small in an erect state but small in flaccid state. Even struggled with hidden penis. This is what scares me the most as far as healing after the surgery since it doesn’t lay flat all the time. I am also hoping the implant helps with the hidden penis thing too.

It is nice to have a place to research such a private subject. Thanks for the platform.

Welcome Tightlines. It's normal to be nervous but it doesn't sound like a hasty decision. I'm sure you'll be fine.
I can only speak for myself but it is pretty common to have a larger flaccid once implanted. Initial results can be deceiving though.
Best to wait least 6 weeks or more, and preferably until well into cycling, before assessing the results.
I'm assuming that you are getting an inflatable (IPP)? If it's a malleable then you would be essentially always at full length, even when not erect.
With my IPP I ended up with a much larger flaccid, which was a nice bonus as I was only average size at best.

Tactra is a malleable implant by Boston Scientific. Did you mean Tenacio, which is the newer model pump they have?
I have their earlier MS pump. Do you know if your inflatable will be the LGX or the CX model?
They have different properties. LGX has claimed expansion in both length and girth.
Based on your desire to regain/improve lost length I'm assuming the LGX might be the one your surgeon would recommend.

To my knowledge the Tactra is not a pump. It's a malleable implant, not an inflatable (IPP). Malleable is a semi-rigid implant, meaning it doesn't inflate and deflate like IPPs, and it doesn't have a pump. You essentially just manipulate it into an erect state and vice versa. It's designed for patients who prefer a simpler device or have medical conditions that make inflatable implants less suitable. I've seen a video link on here of a guy demonstrating his but can't find it right now. But see these animations for both types of Boston Scientific implants:
