19 year old with moderate ED, thinking about implant

Postby GBDS22206 » Thu May 29, 2025 8:11 pm

Hey everyone! So I'm 19, soon turning 20. Since first having sex at 18 I've been developing some ED related problems which have gotten worse over time. I could get hard enough for penetration but it eventually became soft inside the girl and slips out and you just have to start over! No matter how long the sex is, I just cannot cum from that and due to my low sensitivity overall, I had sex for five hours once and still wasn't able to cum even once although I was close to it a few times, doesn't seem to be an issue while masturbating.

The more sex I had the harder it was to get and maintain an erection, at one point my ex gf asked me to fuck her on the table and I managed to enter her after prolonged stimulation but it got soft after a few thursts, then again, and again, and again, I had to go down on her and finish her off with a dildo, she liked that but it was extremely embarassing and traumatising for me. We broke up eventually for reasons unrelated to my sexual performance. My dick is a bit bent to the side naturally, and later I noticed that it hurts in the curvature area sometimes and now looks bent even while flaccid. My ex genuinely almost broke it a few times when riding me, it hurt like hell so I suspect that might've been the case, gonna check it at the doctor's soon.

Afterwards I went through some extremely heavy shit mentally, wasn't sleeping enough, eating enough and all that stuff, I also pulled my lower back at work and it still hurts sometimes. After that my libido went downhill, I was barely able to get excited with my thoughts and wasn't very responsive to physical stimulation either. A month after the work incident I hooked up with a girl, but barely managed to get it inside her and penetrate, it went soft inside of her very quickly and slipped out multiple times so I just gave up, I didn't even feel much while fucking her. That was in April, now I'm in a somewhat better place mentally and some of my function seems to come back, morning woods came back, it feels better already. I managed to get it 100% engorged while masturbating and although it started to get softer immediately without stimulation (always was an issue, I might have VL) it remained decently hard for a few minutes.

I'm gonna get a Doppler test soon to determine whether it's Peyronie's (the curvature still hurts from time to time) or VL, but even if it's neither and If I do get my natural function back it's still very unreliable. I'm young and don't wanna get hooked up on drugs at my age, and especially don't want to inject needles in my penis for sex, an implant seems reasonable if my issues persist tbh.

See, it's not hard for me to stay decently engorged during sex, but unless I'm 100% hard it's impossible to penetrate, my dick just slips out the minute I get even a little bit softer, then I start stressing out and it gets soft completely, so we have to start over. Sex becomes a chore rather than a fun time, I have to thurst and thurst inside of a woman just so it doesn't start to get soft, and it does anyway. An implant, on the other hand, seems to allow for penetration even if you're not aroused at all, so if my natural engorgement of the glans persists after the surgery I should be able to finally have a stress-free spontanous sex, isn't that a perfect solution?

I know abouth the tradeoffs, I know about exhausting all the options before going for an implant, but really is it a better idea to start relying on medication that might work for some time when I'm not even 20? Anyway that's just speculation at this point, if I do get an implant it'll be a minimum a year or two from now, till then I'm focusing on my mental stuff and improving my health, can't hurt at least.

So that's that, looking forward to hearing from y'all!

Heck yeah, try the pills! They could really change your life for the better. It would be foolish not to give them a try.

The fact that you are never rock hard, even when alone and masturbating seems to lean more towards a physiologic reason for your ED rather than psychological.
Of course they are intertwined. The psychological and physiological are always impacting one another. But this is not an “all in your head” thing.

Regarding medications: give them a chance and just see what they do for you. Particularly, give daily cialis (Tadalafil) a chance. You don’t have to plan around it. It’s just in your system. 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg are the typical daily doses. It can be really inexpensive. I use Mark Cuban’s CostPlusDrugs and it’s about $12 a month. My doc had to send in the script like any other prescription but it’s legit.

It would be a good idea to just see if injections can work for you. I did pills for 5 years, shots for 10, and got implanted 2 months ago. I love my implant but pills and shots worked for me for quite a while.

But if you try all of that and still want to proceed with implant then go for it. I love mine and am thrilled with the result.
56yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills, then shots for 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan w/classic pump by Dr Eid 3/25/2025. Will meet for show & tell.

tried Cialis and it didn't work for me!!
Viagra does work!!!
I've had a Doppler test to diagnose venous leak and all I've found is priapism and they need to drain my penis!!
My advice is not to rush into that test.
My advice is to take a 50-mg Viagra every time you want to masturbate, 40 minutes or an hour beforehand.

Oh, I am rock hard from time to time, but I can only get to 100% erection with stimulation and it doesn't stay that way for a long time. When I'm very horny I can stay at about 60-70% for a few minutes without stimulation even if I did cum already, but it's not enough to penetrate. Most of the time I'm able to get it to around 90% I think, it gets quite hard and the glans engorge a lot, but it's still a bit soft to penetrate safely. Like there's this feeling of softness inside if I touch it even if it looks fully erect, does a Titan fix that and gives proper rigidity regardless of engorgement? My main issue is basically the fact that it can wobble and bend inside of a girl which can lead (and possibly already led) to injury, and an implant guarantees that it'll stay straight and hard, right?

Regarding meds, I'll give low dose Cialis a try eventually, but only when I'll be confident that an implant is my end goal and the issue is physical. It probably is physical, my mother and grandmother suffer from varicose and I had some issues with blood vessels in my childhood. Psychological stuff definitely worsened it, I started off more or less confident and was able to penetrate for some time, was able to last for hours even though it started getting flaccid eventually even then, I just brushed it off and fapped until it was hard again. Then it started failing more often and I developed massive performance anxiety.

So in short I can get it hard, it usually start with the shaft and the glans then engorge from zero to full within a few seconds if I'm very horny, sometimes it deflates immediately after I stop and sometimes it deflates slowly. I can get erect but it's hard to keep the shaft rigid enough, maybe I should try a cock ring out like Irishguy did. So anyway, tell me more about your experience and I'd also like to chat in private messages, thanks!

You must take it to enjoy a firm belly.
For your mental health, you must program your brain to take one pill every day from now on.

Viagra definitely does not worsen your condition, and only affects you less if your ED is getting worse on its own. You should absolutely stick with pills like Viagra as long as you can

Okay then, got it. I still don't see why I should stick to them till failure though. Like, If my ED is physical the only long-term solution is an Implant anyways, sure I will use meds to enhance what I have and not lose size before implantation, but I'll still be compromising my sex life and delaying the inevitable. Spontaneity is out of question too.

Dr Eid, probably the top and most experienced/knowledgeable implant surgeon in the world, says that the natural tissue of the penis glans and shaft will be caused to atrophy by the pressure of the implant over the years. In other words, the natural meat of your penis will slowly go away leaving you with less pleasure tissue and more of the hard plastic implant feeling. This happens slowly over years.

This is not to mention the risk of losing inches of your penis in the event of an infection or related complication.
