Another dysfunctional old man . . .

Postby Andy425 » Sat Jan 12, 2013 3:44 pm

Hi: I'm 62, had PC diagnosed in April last year, robotic removal in June, they had to take one nerve bundle. I had a tough time with incontinence for the first 3-4 months, although it is pretty much under control now.

I have no woman in my life now so erections weren't a big concern to me, but I would like to get functional again if possible. It's like a gun, you never know when you'll need it, lol.

Andy ... Welcome to FT ...

What has your URO provided you for your recovery? Are you using VED? ... are you taking Cialis daily?

A good place to start (30 min. video) ...

Thanks Bionic.

I bought a Vacurect last week, and have a 30 day supply of Cialis but haven't taken any yet. This is the 30-day free trial; I can't see spending ten bucks a piece for them after these are gone.

Thanks for the video link, I will check it out after work.

You don't have to ... many of the guys here use alldaychemist.com (Search for: Tadalafil) it works out to about $1 per day ...

Hey thanks for that tip.

But I went there and they said "Not for consumption in the United States."

???

EDIT: Good links, thanks. After watching the video (and also from what I've read elsewhere) I'm wondering if I got too late of a start with ED treatment (surgery +7 months).

Andy,

The site is required to state "not for comsumption in the US," but it will allow you to purchase. I use another source, Northwest Pharmacy in Canada. It does require a prescription, but you can obviously get that. Their Cialis generics come from India, but they have the same effect as the name brand for me. I use the daily 5mg Cialis, and it works wonders. No, it is not too late. You must quite thinking of yourself as an old man; I'm more than ten years older than you, and I do not consider myself old, and my sex life is definitely not over. Yours won't be, either. Keep reading the posts on medications and injections. You will be amazed at the success stories of the men on this site.

Feel free to send me a private message with any questions you may have of me; I'll be glad to share my experiences.

John

Thanks for that info, John!

.

I've just had a rough couple of years. The first 60 were quite good actually. In October 2011 I had four neck vertebrae fused, and the recovery pain was friggin' ridiculous. Then a few months later (Feb '12, still had lingering neck pain) during a routine physical my doc felt a node on the old sex gland, and that started the whole emotional ball rolling of being a cancer victim, and I had just met a really sharp looking 50 year old all around the same time. I had the prostate biopsy just a few days before we first got naked and I had to warn her that there might be blood in my semen. Just a wonderful bunch of events.

Robotic prostate surgery was a breeze (compared to neck surgery), but then going through 3-4 months of little or no bladder control, finally get somewhat of a handle on that, and now I'm left with a pile of dead meat and no woman, although that's probably a good thing. Oh well, things could be worse.

But thanks for the kind words. It does help.
