The Titan tends to auto inflate. To prevent that once you deflate fully, pump the bulb once or twice. I guess that sets the pump so no saline can leak through.

So now I'm about 72 hours after my operation. Each night's sleep is definitely getting better and longer. I still have a pretty sore section of my crotch on the right side that seems to really hurt after too much activity, like using the bathroom or just walking around. I believe that is where the saline receptacle was placed. Icing it definitely seems to work.
My scrotum is still pretty full so I continue to ice that also. The penis itself is a little sore on the sides but overall not that bad.
I was able to take a shower today which was excellent. The incision site looks great. It's lying flat and just has a light pinkish red line across. Not infected at all. Also just using a Band-Aid now to cover the drain hole that was left after the drain was removed.
I have been gently feeling around so I know exactly where the pump is and I can feel clearly the part of the pump that I press to deflate. With my flaccid penis I can also feel the tubes sort of flattened down and crinkly. It's funny because even though they are empty it still feels like I have an erection and a sore one at that! Any of you that have used injections for getting an erection probably knows the feeling of ache you get when the injection lasts a little too long.
Overall really no complaints! It was expected that there'd be some pain and soreness and like I said earlier it seems like that's going away and getting less and less as the days go on.
I will probably keep giving updates because I know I liked reading stuff like this before I went into surgery so I hope that this is helping you guys out and preparing you for what to expect.

Congratulations TuffDad,

What a great post, I think you are right, members considering an implant need to hear experiences like this. I also think you are doing the right thing, doing your best to give back to FT what you received.

Stay positive and know you can't hurry up the healing, just let your body do its thing.

Day five and I feel even better. I'm starting to see that I'm having a lot of bruising coming up which I guess is a good thing because it means the fluids that were underneath are now dissipating.

I've been trying some different forms of support. First I was using a regular jock strap, the kind that is not really cotton but like a nylon sort of thing. That was itchy and generally wasn't giving me the support I need it. Then I switch to my bike shorts which are pro-type shorts with the padding. Those actually helped a lot! But then this morning I switched to my nicer collection of jock straps. So I have a cotton Nasty Pig (clothing brand) jockstrap that actually has been pretty perfect in both how much it can hold and strap itself to me and how soft and comfortable it is.

Mentally I'm kind of dealing with what do I tell people? I mean seriously if I'm not having sex with them it's not their business but you know when your parents are wondering why you're laid up and you're telling them it's because of a hernia I just feel like weird outright lying to them. But at the same time I don't think they really need to know that their son has an implant now! I also don't really have anybody to talk to. The only people who know what I did is my brother who happens to be transgender so he already knows what it's like to get an implant and my best friend. And obviously my husband knows!

I think once I'm healed up enough to take some pictures I'll post what I got and also the pictures that I took previous to getting the implant so people can see what it looks like before and after.

FT has been a lifesaver for me. I had the same issues you are having. I wanted someone to talk to and found myself offering information to people that does not have a clue of what I was going through...Even my doctor, asked me before the implant, "Have you accepted the fact that you wont have an erection again?" BULLLSH:T, I said. I am getting an implant.
My brother now knows about it. I sent a Youtube video of a guy cycling his Titan. He had a very hard time looking at a video of a man pumping himself up to get an erection. My dad had the same issue and decided sex has ended for him. I have a cousin that is having major ED problems
after a prostatectomy, but has not decided on the implant.

Finding someone to talk with may be almost impossible. Find someone on this site to confine in...They have been through it and heard many others discuss their issues. They understand. It took me a while to figure out that if others are not going through the same thing or something similar, they DONT have a clue how to discuss it with you. After you heal and began using your implant. You will be glad that others dont know.

These updates are really helpful. Seems you've had a good go of it, what's been the best and worst of it if you had to describe each in one sentence. Thanks, Caleb.

TuffDadSF,
As for communicating the procedure you had, ask yourself, "Do those outside of your personal circle...need to know? Saying that, other than my wife, and a few bi friends, NOBODY KNOWS.

It makes for very interesting talk when I "meat" a new guy friend. All, and I do mean all, love the fact that it can get hard and stay hard for as long as they like to play. Showing where the pump is, explaining how it works, and having them help deflate me when were done is very erotic.

Day 10:
Most of the swelling has gone down but I do still have a hydrocele around the left teste that is making things a bit difficult. I have been doing sitz baths with Epsom salts which have definitely helped! I already had a gigantic ball sack so this extra fluid along with the pump is really pulling downwards on the entire unit which is still quite painful. Using support underwear and a jock strap helps but it's still a bummer,

The bruises are fading which is good and the incision still looks great and healing up nicely.

Though I have deflated my device my penis is still sticking straight out which is not helped by the huge scrotum behind it pushing it out further! A bit embarrassing sometimes going out to shop or restaurants and having my dick reach the destination before me.

I have a follow up with my doctor on Feb 9 which I hope by then all those annoyances with be gone.

The best thing so far is knowing that once I'm healed up I can get back to business and have spontaneous sex again. Bring a gay dude who was formerly very active and losing that ability over the past few years has been pretty horrible.
The worst thing was the pain the first couple of days and the sleepless nights. I'm past most of that now, thankfully.
