Getting AMS 700 LGX on Wednesday!

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to take a minute to say hello and THANK YOU to everyone - what an amazing site/forum! It has helped me tremendously - between my anxieties about size and ED, to whether an implant is the right decision and which one to choose. I'm constantly amazed with the sharing and wealth of information.

I'm having my implant surgery first thing Wednesday morning (12/14/2022). Slightly anxious about loss of length, but hopeful that early cycling and VED usage will help over time. I've read a few different posts - some beginning their cycling as early as 3 days seems unreal to me, but hoping for the best.

If you have any comments as to what helped you, I'd love to know! I'll continue to read through the posts and hopefully find a routine that will work for me.

Thanks again everyone! Best wishes and happy holidays!

Read my "Things I learned" post under implants. What doctor did you select?

Is that a 3 piece Inflatable? I am trying to come up with the cash to have 3 piece inflatable prosthetic surgery. Was initially considering 1 piece malleable but I'm afraid of the possibility of tissue damage from permanent erection.

Thanks, I will (if I haven't already) - been reading so much lately I don't recall.

My doctor is a Kaiser Urologist that practices out of Clackamas, OR and Longview, WA - Dr. Gillis.

I'm still bandaged with a catheter, but feeling great overall so far!

Yes, well, 4 in my opinion - pump, reservoir and 2 cylinders. Lol.

With my Kaiser insurance it was just a little over 3K, like 3,164 and change.

Hope that helps and best wishes to you!

Welcome to the bionic club!
Great to hear you're doing well and little pain. Your New Year should be much better once you heal!

Thank you so much! I'm excited to heal and see how things are going. Still have little to no pain. Just have to pee and they'll release me. I spoke to the Dr and he said I had a LOT of fibrosis which, he said, put me in his top 3 of most difficult insertions. I really wish I'd done this years ago as he said between the diabetes and ED that caused me to lose length. Hoping the LGX will help regain some, but I know there are no guarantees. I've read about early cycling and using a VED to help regain what I've lost, so staying hopeful.

Thanks again!
