55 year old from MA. 2 Days until surgery
Do you know how they say ED can be a symptom of coronary artery disease? So last September I went for my preoperative check to get my penile implant. They didn't like the look of my EKG so sent me for a stress test. Well, I failed that test too so I guess I should have studied harder. Heh. Next down to the cath lab and you guessed it. More bad news. So instead of an implant, I went home the proud owner of a triple heart bypass. Now it's 7 months later and since I'm too stubborn to ever give up on anything here I am less than 2 days from getting my AMS 700 LGX. Wish me luck guys!

R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Nerve sparing - damaged. C in margin. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ ~ 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE-1 - cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

I'm hoping you are already through the surgery by now today and on to recovery. I'm 20 days post implant and things are going well. Just make sure to follow your instructions to the letter. I did and had almost no pain or swelling. Binge watch something on Netflix for a few days and you'll be glad you did.

58, implanted with 22 cm Titan (no RTE's) on April 1, 2022. Complete ED started after High Dose Rate Brachytherapy for prostate cancer. Tried everything else first but nothing worked. Wonderfully supportive wife!

You've been through a lot! I'm glad the bypass went well, and I hope you're recovering well from your implantation surgery too. Welcome to the forum!
ED since using SSRI antidepressants. Unable to maintain erection sufficient for penetration. Tried PDE5's, VED, injections. AMS 700 CX implanted 8/1/2022, penoscrotal by Dr. McVary, Loyola medical center. 15cm + 1.5 and 1.0 RTE's. 65 ml reservoir.

@ BionicMan2022, I also had 2 heart attacks, my cardiologist does not want me to do the implant so as not to leave the cardioaspirin for 20 days, but I am stubborn like you and I will do the implant, you have to think about getting better and thinking that now it comes best of all, get well soon

Post op day 7 today. My first day I would call mostly comfortable. My penis and scrotum are still spectacularly colorful but much less swollen. 7 more days till I can begin cycling my implant. I plan to be beyond religious about it. Thanks for all the kind well wishes. I will update here again next week.
