Hello. Im 68 I had nerve saving prostate surgery almost 3years ago and have not had a natural erection since the night before the surgery. I stumbled upon this site by pure luck. I started reading and have already learned a lot. I hope to learn more from all the great post here. There have been frustrations since surgery. The shrinkage, the incontinence, the blue pills, the pumps and injections. Thanks for the support.

Welcome! You will find a ton of information here. Lots of other guys here had prostatectomies so they know where you are coming from.

Welcome to the forum. I've traveled your path. It's been a bit over 10 years for me. My ED resulted from the RRP and I never regained natural function. On a good day, at best, I can get a 10% natural erection. Basically just a little thickening and good for nothing and that's one of my best natural responses. However, the alprostadil mono-mix injections work very well and have from shortly after starting them, after a bit of a learning process. My doctor just gave me a script for Edex and told me to read the instructions. I hadn't yet discovered this site yet either so I was on my own. For me the injections are a wonderful thing.

I hope I'm not of line here but I know a lot of you guys here have had a prostatectomy so maybe you might have experienced the same. I told my Urologist that since my surgery when I masturbate I have a spot about 3 inches to the left of my pubic bone that feels very pleasurable the closer I get to an orgasm. The feeling was not there before I had surgery and that I seem to have a greater sensitively in nipples. Before surgery I felt some sensitively but nothing like I feel now. My urologist just said sex changes after a prostatectomy . Just wondered if anyone has experienced any changes.

Welcome to FT. Reading all the info here about so many men's experiences pushed me over the edge to get my implant. I am generally very happy about my implant. I'm still working on it!

Yep, guilty as charged.

No, unfortunately I did not gain any extra pleasurable sensations.

That would be an emphatic No Shit!

Nothing other than the well known crappy side effects such as ED, dry and delayed orgasms and bladder control issues. That said, the injections are a wonderful aid and greatly increases sexual pleasure which is pretty much impossible otherwise.
