New to the forum....65 years old and married; ED for 5 years. Tried pills...but they stopped working; went on TRT for 2 years and it helped about 50% of the time but caused problems with my blood-work so now I'm off. I'm in shape and work out regularly but have a low sex drive and with performance anxiety, every attempt at it ends up in bad feelings. My overall T is average but free T is low. Occasionally get a morning wood but lost a lot of the desire to connect it to the act and I'm often not hard enough to work. I'm not ready for implants, or pumps. I hope to find a solution here! Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like injections are in order.

I'm no doctor but it sounds like my former symptoms of low testosterone. In my case it was easily and immediately fixed by a T gel made up by a compounding pharmacy. I smear a little on a few square inches of skin once a day. If your urologist can't figure out why synthetic T is interfering with "blood work," I would see an endocrinologist; they're the experts in hormone interactions.

Hello Jadd;

I’m a fellow NYer. I too started to have my erections become less dependable. My libido didn’t really decrease but it was frustrating to not do what I wanted it to do. It was messing with my mood and interfering with my marriage.

I had some success with Levitra and Viagra for a while but they stopped being dependable. I went to a urologist who prescribed Trimix. Three medications (Prostaglandins, papaverine, and phentolamine) that is injected into the side of the shaft of the penis just before I want to have sex. (Sounds horrible but is like a mosquito bite. The needle is incredibly tiny). I get a firm hard cock and don’t have to worry about it for the next hour or so.

There is a solution but you may need to take the bull by the horns and pursue that solution with a good urologist.

I’ll send you a PM.
