This forum has been very helpful so far.

I am 36, athletic, non-diabetic, non-smoker, and have recently found myself in need of an implant due to an unknown heart condition.

My heart condition has caused 2 heart attacks, resulting in 2 stents and my body picking and choosing which parts of me get proper blood flow.

Appreciate your info and advice, that being said, if anyone has a good doctor referral for the state of Arizona please don’t hesitate!

I’ve never met him personally, but I had a phone call with Dr Shawn Blick in Phoenix. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He’s a high volume implanter (I believe about 150 a year), using the infrapubic method.

It sounds like more of a clotting problem. If you haven’t yet seen a good hematologist at a major medical center (where they will see such high volumes of patients they will be familiar with exotic conditions) please do.
