Aussie Info

Postby AussieMan » Tue Nov 10, 2020 9:20 pm

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your info. I've learnt more on this website in few days than in 20 years of doctors consultations.
A few thoughts:
1. I've had ED for 20 years. I've visited dozens of doctors. NOT ONE has ever suggested that A) I might have physical problem. B) this might be fixed. I am furious about this.
2. I am hoping this post marks the start of my journey from having ED to not. i.e. from one universe which is beyond horrid, to one which is beyond amazing.
3. Specifically i am seriously looking at having an implant. What was inconceivable is now something i am contemplating largely as a result of having read the stories on these pages - good and bad. I have booked a consultation with a urologist. Again i am FURIOUS that no health professional ever suggested this to me.

Looking specifically for Australian and NZ info. I live in WA. I don't think anyone does implants here. Dr Love (not sure whether to feel reassured or worried about that name!) seems to be the leading guy. Or is he just the most well advertised?

Someone mentioned a Dr Chung in Brisbane.

I am keen to hear from any Aussie blokes who have had an implant in Australia or New Zealand.

Thanks.

Welcome to Frank Talk. This is a place where you will find support from men who have gone through the process of correcting erectile dysfunction.
A good place to begin is with a video by Gerald Brock MD a urologist from London Ontario Canada. He is a walking dictionary of information about ED, and I appreciate his sense of humor. A video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fde1ltS8SJk
prostate cancer diagnosed 2015, brachytherapy 2017 to good result, heart attack 2018, recovered, taking a butt-load of cardiac meds. married 50 years, father and grandfather,
