Penile implant + graft

Postby Mixtly07 » Thu Sep 24, 2020 4:05 pm

Awesome place to get information, thank you all for sharing your experience, it does help.

I am a 53 yeard old man happily married with problems of ED and Peyronies, ED started 2 years ago, and notice Peyronies in Dec 2019, I have decided not to play around, my insurance will not cover Xiaflex and my local urologist does not have the experience with Peyronies other than Xiaflex, and the scar I have is more noticeable turning my penis to the left.

I think I will need grafting to gain some length back, so I will probably have graft surgery and placement of a 3 piece implant. Hoping for the best. Let my journey with implant begin in 2020 I said.

I have read the AMS CX is the best implant for patients with incisions and grafting surgery because of the controlled expansion on the girth. I was hoping Titan will do the trick, anyone had a Titan installed with Incision Graft surgery at the same time?

Has anyone gained length with grafting?

All comments are welcome.

I too had Peyronies not a huge curve to the right and up. You may not need a graft It depends on how bad it is. It was suggested to me to use traction and a VED my urologist seemed to indicate that it couldn’t hurt if I was careful about it and not over do it. After about a year after starting cycling I’m about the same length as I always was.

My understanding with grafting is it only evens out the sides.

This is a good site
ED 20 years, Peyroine's Disease diagnosed in 2018, at 57 years I was implanted September 3rd 2019 at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, AMS700 CX 21cm + 2cm RTE

If you're getting an implant why not just do extensive traction therapy? You can do long hours with RestoreX, Hanging, Vacuum, etc and truly maximize your size. The implant will take care of the girth mostly. I don't understand why you would choose to do grafting if you're getting an implant without trying long hours of traction therapy.

There are a few studies with this. If you can wait a year or so you can have even more than what you started with. You can gain 2 inches or even more and THEN get the implant to maximize results.

In the second study, the person did 8 hours of traction and 10min 2x/day sessions of vaccum therapy. I am personally doing the same. I have Peyronie's and failing erections even as i got up in Cialis dosage.

I have personally gained about an inch and am going to wait at least 6 more months to try to gain another inch before getting the implant. If you're getting erections with medication you can wait as long as possible.
