Ambicor 2 piece questions

Postby ncfire321 » Thu Jul 11, 2019 8:43 am

Hello all,
New to franktalk and really enjoy reading and learning from all here. Like most here, been suffering from ED for years now due to cancer x2 and treatments. Beat the cancer and clear for several years now. Have tried the blue pills, worked for a little while. Failed tri-mix due to erection lasting longer than 4 hours. Sucks because it was great until pain started. Doctor has suggested implant but due to previous operations can on have 2 piece ambicore unit. Theres not much here on this model and would like to here for those with one.
At 55, still riding a fire truck, a great wife and living the good life , a good hardon would be the cherry on top.

Thanks for any help,
GW

I am puzzled why you gave up on Trimix. I can appreciate that priapism is scary. However, the fact that Trimix got you there means, to me, that what you need is a much smaller dose. This means either injecting less of the mix that you have or going back to the urologist and getting a weaker solution. My suggestion is that you look into this before you embark on an implant. If you still find that Trimix doesn't work, the implant is always an option

Welcome to the forum tarheelfire,

I hope you find the answers you need. Unfortunately I know little about any implants. I agree with the surfer that it sounds like you just needed to tweak your injection dose or mix.

Good luck.

I have an Ambicor two-piece implant. My doctor recommended it due to the Peyronie's Disease plaque that I had.

I understand from other reading that the pumped state isn't as rigid as a three-piece implant but it is fine with me. Pumped has a higher erection angle. Un-pumped it aims at the floor. It seems to work well. I enjoy masturbating again and sex with others has been fun.

My biggest issue is with the input hoses from the pump to the cylinders. They are easy to feel and sometimes bother me. My doctor says this is normal but I'm not sure so I plan to get a second opinion.
