HI GUYS!

Postby RJYcowboy » Fri Feb 10, 2012 11:15 am

My name is Randal, I am 37, married (16yrs), 2 children and have type 1 diabetes since age 3! I have had an insulin pump for the past 8 yrs and is the best decision I have made concerning my health! I also have diabetic retinopathy, witch is the reason I have had to step down from my job and take disability! Of course I have ED (why I am here) and have had it in some form for the past 10 yrs! I used to have success with Viagra until the last 2 yrs even 100mg is not getting it done? I want to make love to my wife so bad, to the point I can feel that raging fire through my entire body, but my unit will not have any of that?? I have noticed I am losing length and girth also, what the EF is going on with that? I am trying to do whatever is possible to fulfill my wifes needs as well as my own! I was told about this forum from the great dudes at PE Gym! My Uro suggested the injections and will talk to him about getting this on my next appointment? I am open to any and all suggestions from you guys, from what I have read so far there is alot of valuable experiance and information here! Thank You for you time Gentlemen!

Welcome, Randal. Dave is right. Boogie around the site and read up on any and every subject that interests you. If you're doc has suggested injections, then it's probably time to get with it. Following 3 years of frustating failure, I started using trimix since November of 2010 with fantastic results. Don't waste any time; learn what you can about injections and then schedule that uro appointment with the information needed to have an informed discussion. Here's to hard times, friend.

Randal - WELCOME!!

I wish I could borrow some of that fire you have in you! It would feel great to be horny again. I still have desire, but its much milder than yours.

As you are probably now aware, because you can't get an erection, your penis will shrink up just like any other muscle. I would suggest a pump of some kind (maybe the encore, I think that is what its called) to get the blood flowing. I bought a traction device off ebay for $20. A leg strap and a cup that goes on your penis like a heavy duty half condom. An elastic band connects them. I gained some length before my surgery using one.

I would also encourage you to try the injections. Being diabetic, you are obviously past the needle panic. I had good success with quad mix, and its a lot cheaper than the pills. A cock ring is useful for administering the injection and holding it in your penis while it takes effect, about 5 minutes or so, and it can also help out if you start to go limp at the wrong time. If you are thinking about a more long term solution, there are a lot of guys on here with implants, so you can pick their brains also. I just updated my story in the implant forum, its called LGX Log. Read away!

Good luck,

Hi Randall,
Believe me, there are many guys on FT that are older than you, and have had Ed problems many years---as well as serious surgeries and other misfortunes that ought not befall a man. Plain truth is though, virtually every guy here still wants to plow his woman, or partner, and have as best of sex life as possible. You will get encouraged here, to seek the solution right for you. You will learn the lingo that will make a difference at your doc, either a General MD or a urologist. You will be able to talk up for yourself in an educated way, instead of perhaps letting a doc slip out of some harder work for him--- that if done would really help you. I'm 67, had not had regular intercourse for perhaps 2 years, I simply could not get erect enough with pills to stay in the saddle. Makeshift sex is better than no sex, but it ain't the best, and most want more than make-shift. The injection remedy is working for me, can't wait to shoot up on Saturday again and see the wonder of it all. My bride has a whole new attitude going now too. If not injections, I bet there is a remedy to work for you, look for it here.

Good luck, keep coming here and study the posts going back several months, you just keep becoming better informed. See you in Chat some evening--I trust. bruce (6 Gun 44 mag)
