Hello men

Postby AlexanderP » Wed Jan 04, 2012 3:16 pm

Hello guys,
My name is Adrian. I found this site from a mention on restoringforeskin.org. I have had ED for about two years and am just looking at ways to fight it and get my sex life back. I am new to treatments and yesterday had a Tri-mix injection that was very successful. I am looking into other less expensive ways of dealing with my ED. I had a great chat yesterday with others here and look forward to learning from all of you. Thanks for being here.

Welcome Adrian,
I hope we have some answers that you can use to restore great erections at a reasonable price.
Which makes me wonder... are you taking advantage of the lowest price for trimix ? There are some people (mis-)representing that they have all the answers, but at an extreme price. Personally, I got my Rx from a 'regular' urologist, got it filled by a local compounding pharmacy which I SELECTED.... then took it in for initial injection by the uro.
My cost ? $20 co-pay for each visit to urologist. $75. for 2.5 ML of trimix (which lasted me six months, but your mileage may vary) about $10 for 100 each insulin 30cc syringes. About $10 for sudafed pills in case of a hardon that lasts TOO long. I forgot how much for alcohol pads....
In any case, for me, each boner costs me approximately $1.75
A lot depends on the dosage you need.

Welcome Adrian and Happy New Year.

I think that the best way for me to provide you with some info about ED is to share the story of my battle with ED.
I developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in February 2004 at age 65 and had never experienced any problem prior to that.
Viagra, Cialis, etc. did not work for me.
After much research and having the opportunity to speak with 2 men who underwent the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure, I had my Titan Implant Procedure December 13, 2007.
The Titan Penile Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional intimacy with my wife of 45 years.
I became a Coloplast Patient Educator in January 2008 in order to share my Pre-Implant and Post-Implant experiences with men still suffering from ED and its devastating side effects.
I just celebrated the Fourth Anniversary of my Titan Implant December 13th and my wife and I could not be happier with it.
The FT Group has a bunch of great guys who are always willing to reach out to other men suffering with ED.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to talk.

Bob

Adrian - welcome! I'm happy the tri-mix is working for you. I hope the success continues.

I am surprised at your comment about cost. I was using quad mix. I got a bottle for about $40 and got 20 erections from it (give or take a couple). I don't think anything else is that reasonable in the medication arena. A VED is cheap after the initial purchase, but there are downsides to that, at least for me. I didn't like the feeling of the blood supply being cut off to my penis, plus it made an already insensitive organ even more insensitive. It could have been wrapped with an inner tube for all the feeling I was getting!

If you are paying more that $50 for 4 cc, look for another source.

$1.75 for a Boner. Now that's worth paying attention to. I'm allready looking forward to Jan 25 for the uro appt. Hope you get straightened around my friend, this place has allready done more for me just getting me looking out for myself, than 5 years of doctor talk has done up to now. Good luck.

Guys,
Thanks for all the replies. I am going to look into what can be available to me and let you know. It is great to have so many men out there that can give useful advice. You give me some courage to keep looking and asking for the things I need to get better.
