yes----I would like to fix it!!

Postby 6gun 44 mag » Sun Dec 18, 2011 4:40 pm

Hello All, I have poked around on this site just a bit, I can tell that I would probably get along with most any of you, as I consider myself just a plain old ordinary guy who would love to get past ED, and I think I see many of you in the same boat.
I'm 67 since last October, but I've had problems since I was 50. Got remarried at 50 years old, beautiful and willing bride, talented, but after a short few years I just had a heck of a time staying erect and finishing love making. After I turned 60, I've used the 3 big name pills, now they have little effect. I'm not ready to retire from the bedroom.
I've gone to several doctors, who seemingly pat me on the head, offer more pills. Not one ever mentioned injections, or seemingly attempted to find anmy root causes of the problem. I am considering seeing (from what I've been told), a very lovely black woman urologist nearby, pour out my heart to her, see if she can help me turn the corner. While I prefer a man doctor, this lady is famous in our area for expertise with male prostate and other problems.
I hope this site just might inform me of something I either did not know about, or perhaps steer me some way or other. I think I'm teachable, I guess I feel helpless right now. Chuck

Chuck,

As a 70 year old guy who had just about given up until I found this site, I believe help is just around the proverbial corner for you. Your situation sounds similar to mine, as you don't mention any other health problems; however, you may find others with experiences more similar to yours.

After testosterone shots beginning this summer, I started taking all three of the major ED pills. Viagra didn't work very well, besides all the unpleasant side effects. Cialis and Levitra have been working somewhat, but not dependably; so, on the advice of many guys on here (and the support of my uro), I begin Trimix this week. From what I'm reading, that should be my answer. I'm using the medical pump for rehabilitation, but not for intercourse, as I don't like the unnatural feel of the rings; however, my urologists encourages me to use it to bring things back to life, and I think he's right. I suggest that you read under all of the subject headings, even those that don't appear as relevant, as there is an amazing amount of experience and advice here. Please don't overlook the private message feature on the left side of yor screen (under Control Panel), as that's a great way to get more personal information than one might want to post for everyone. Also, you will appreciate the Chat feature.

Welcome Chuck,
First, I would advise you to see a Urologist who specializes in male Sexual Dysfunction and have several tests done, including a Doppler Test to determine if there is sufficient blood flow to your penis.
Insufficient blood flow (arterial insufficiency) and venous leakage are two of the prime causes of ED.

I think that sharing the story of my battle with ED and how I have permanently corrected my ED problem is the best way for me to try to help you understand that ED is not an inevitable result of aging.
I developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in February 2004 at age 65.
I never had an ED problem prior to my Prostatectomy.
For several years I suffered all the negative emotions associated with ED, lack of self-esteem. anger and shame for no longer being able to satisfy my wife of over 40 years. Between the Prostate Cancer and the ED I was in a very dark place and had some disturbing thoughts.
I attended several Seminars and read extensively on the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant and was very impressed but still not ready to move forward. Then I had the opportunity to speak with 2 men who had had the Titan Procedure done and I realized it was the real deal!!
Three weeks later, December 13, 2007, I had the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure done at Hackensack University
Medical Center in Bergen County, New Jersey by Dr. Hossein Sadeghi, a highly regarded Penile Implant Surgeon.
The Titan Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional intimacy with my wife
of 45 years. We are both thankful for my Titan Penile Implant.
I became a Patient Educator for Coloplast in January 2008 in order to share my Pre-Implant and Post-Implant experiences
with men still suffering with ED and its devastating side effects.
I know the importance of speaking with someone who has personally undergone the Implant Procedure since this is what gave me the courage to move forward and have it done.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or would just like to talk.
Best of luck.

Bob
